Posted - Jun 14 2006 : 06:11:34 AM Here's a strange one, and I am not sure if I am posting in the right forum, but I know that farmgirls rarely throw anything away, and can find creative or useful ways to recycle things. I have several of the little plastic tubes that M&M Mini candies come in; in blue, pink, green, red, etc.The tubes are approximately the size of a roll of quarters, and have a snap lid.
Aside from storing quarters (which do fit, and are handy for keeping in the car for tolls, etc.) or buttons, does anyone have ideas for these? I hate to throw them in the trash, it seems so wasteful. Thanks,

Posted - Jun 14 2006 : 06:53:05 AM Good idea, Ida. Thanks. I even thought they could be used for vitamins or medications when travelling - color coded by family member, or medication, etc. Would you believe I use one to store all of the puppy teeth saved from my little chihuahua?
