September is coming to an end and I just want to say thank you so much to all you amazing farmgirls! You all show me so much support and have spoiled me this last month. I am truly blessed to have you all in my life. I couln't ask for a better set of friends. This has been a very difficult year for my family, but no matter what I always feel supported and loved here. And these positive things always come up when farmgirls need it the most. So thank you all from the bottom of my heart! Picking the next Farmgirl of the Month has been very hard for me. Everyone here is deserving of a special month all their own, but my main focus was to pick a farmgirl who hasn't had this opportunity yet. I want to make sure every farmgirl has a turn at feeling special, just like you all make me feel. I would like to announce Nancy Joplin as our October Farmgirl of the Month! Nancy, I hope you have the best month ever!

Thank you so very much Denise for the sweet package! The gnome is adorable! And he now sits on my fireplace mantle. Thank you for the needles, buttons, and sewing pattern! Now I need to get my sewing machine out and make one of those bags. Thank you for the pretty keychain and towel. They both are perfect! Also thank you for the adorable tape measure and pretty yarn! Thank you so much Heather for the surprise package! I love the nail polish strips and I'm excited to use the orange one next month! And of course Everleigh loves using the extra pieces! Thank you for the whisk and the pizza cutter. I was needing another whisk and now we can make pizza! I am super excited to try the pumpkin pie mix. It sounds delicious. Also thank you for the stickers and cows. Bexten loves them! Thank you so very much!

I'm so happy you like what I sent, Marie. I have some of the yarn for me, too, and plan to use it for some Soap Sacks. There are also scrubbie patterns on the labels that I might try. ENJOY!
I love the town of Gladewater, and shopping in the antique stores there; however, it is not the town I live in. It is about 35 miles down the road.

I just received another package from a farmgirl to congratulate me on becoming the August Farmgirl of the Month.
This package was sent by Linda (quiltee). I was so delighted to receive a gift from a farmgirl with whom I have participated in many swaps.
I was given a postcard from Gladewater, Texas. I can teel from her note that she loves her town. She also sent me a pattern for a crocheted Soap Sack and three skeins of Red Heart Scrubby Stripes yarn in Paradise Print, Berry Crush and Fruity colorways. I know I will use this yarn for the soap sack pattern.
Thank you so much. This is completely lovely.
