Posted - Dec 26 2024 : 9:18:37 PM Marilyn, I am so happy you received your gifts and they will be useful for you. Farmgirls can never have too many journals, I use them a lot. Purple is my favorite color too, I have purple hair, shoes and a wardrobe full of purple. You can never have too much purple either! Happy you enjoyed your holiday and being FGOTM.

Posted - Dec 26 2024 : 8:43:24 PM Hi all,
Thank you for the kind messages! I have been so busy with life and work this month that I really have not had any time to keep up with this happy moment in my life.
I had a very peaceful winter solstice celebration. The sunset was beautiful on Friday and the sky was clear so I went for a nice long walk to enjoy the planets and stars that were visible. Then I came inside and sat in front of the fire and read a book. It was a welcome chance for some much needed solitude, relaxation and reflection. On Saturday my fiddle partner came over to practice so we had a nice dinner then ended the day with good music and another sunset walk to see Christmas lights on houses in my neighborhood.
I don’t celebrate Christmas but I did spend time with family and friends at a holiday gathering yesterday. We had some relatives in town that I haven’t seen for several years so it was great to catch up.
I would like to thank Mary Jane for the Farmgirl care package. I LOVE the handmade clothes pin and plan to turn it upside down use it to hold photos and designs where they are easy to refer to while I’m Rosemaling. The backpacking treats will also come in handy on my upcoming adventures. Thank you!
Thank you CJ for the lovely handmade pocket junk journal, list pad and the handknit mittens, hat and neck warmer set. They will be very handy for my night time walks. Purple is my favorite color so the bandanna will fit in well with my wardrobe. Thank you!
Thank you Debbie for the cute Christmas Chickens dish towel and happy hens journal book! I’m starting an online course soon so I plan to use the journal to take notes and record my homework assignments. Thank you!
I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday however you celebrate and are looking forward to a happy new year!
Cheers! ~ Marilyn
