That sounds good too!
For Easter dinner we had Honeybaked ham, smoked trout (made by our German student), Hasselbeck potatoes, baked beans, spinach salad with tomatoes, carrots and cucumber with a homemade dressing, and carrot cake (by our German student). As my brother in law Larry would say "I'm as full as a tick."
And my white lilac started blooming.

Cooking with wine tonight! I'm making Roast Pork with garlic and Rosemary from How to Cook Everything by Mark Bittman.
It's my go-to cookbook for most recipes.I may imbibe a bit later.

Every year our Soil Conservation office offers a backyard garden project grant that partially reimburses gardeners who put in beehives, compost bins, water gardens, water barrels or other type of projects. This year they approved my garden arch project.
My sweetie bought the cattle panels, t posts and wire clips. Last night I tried hammering the posts with a sledgehammer, and although it worked, my elbow was sore. This morning I bought a post setter and the rest went in easily. The panels were a bit unwieldy but I wrassled them in place and secured them to the posts, learning as I went.
While I was at it, I planted regular beans, asparagus beans, onions and tomatoes, and a bunch of flowers seeds in the pollinator plot. It will rain the rest of the week.
Wuff! I'm tuckered out!
