Well, it’s that time… Time to put everything to bed here on the property… Thank goodness we only have 13 1/2 acres most of which is pasture… But they’re still a lot of work to be done and now that we are not in our 50s or 60s anymore hubby and I Spaced the work out over two days instead of getting it all done in one day.
Today was put the trailer back in the trailer barn, dig up some plants and pot them to over winter, pull in all the water hoses and get ready for the lines to be blown out, prune the prunables , one last mow, and of course, pack away all my little garden decorations and tools.
The rain clouds are moving in fast… so needless to say, this is our last day of/opportunity to “getter done’…

I have a few Autumn decorations set out, so now I can relax, enjoy my Irish coffee, and wait for Thanksgiving… Then come December 1 out comes the Christmas decorations…
But this evening, I plan to relax now that all the chores are finished up.

We've been getting ready for winter here on the farm as well. I'm not sure I'm going to make it until Dec 1st before I start getting Christmas out though LOL! Enjoy your well deserved break :)

Oh Heather,, I will sit down on Dec. 1st and enjoy a hot cup of Irish coffee or a hot cup of cocoa topped with a bit of Brandy in your honor for beating me to getting your Christmas decorations up before me! :>)
HoHoHo , but first let’s stuff ourselves with chocolate, turkey and spiced cookies! ;>)

Don't forget the cranberry salad! I will be stuffing myself for sure LOL! I do properly celebrate Thanksgiving and enjoy every minute of it. I just love Christmas so much that I usually start getting things out the beginning of Nov. It usually takes me at least a month to get everything up and ready.
