I finally finished the dog I was making for my friend. She asked me to make it look like a dog her friend had to put down. Now thats its finished, she has asked me to make 2 more for the daughters. This dog is huge and bigger then a gallon of milk. So I will be working on these for a little while lol!

That dog is adorable Krista. What a beautiful way for them to remember their fur baby.

Thanks everyone. I have struggled a little bit with liking the dog. I think because I looked at it for so long from working on it, that I actually hated it. But I am glad it's growing on me.

I have been sewing so much lately that I may need to select a couple of new projects out of the UFO box! Things are getting done around here at a high speed! Yippee! I am so excited that I am so productive1
Plus, I am getting hand sewing and embroidery projects finished as I am sitting and watching Stanley Cup Playoffs! Woo Hoo! Can't wait to see how much I can get done as playoffs progress! I am working on Stitching and Crafting badges at the same time. So much fun that I don't think that I can stand it. But, I always say that a person can't have too much fun!

I've been trying to do some Spring Cleaning - getting rid of magazines, books, rubber stamping supplies, etc., that I don't think I will need anymore. I want to donate books I've read to a/the library - I read somewhere that there is no point to save them once you have read them, and I have quite a few boxes of books. I don't like getting rid of an author's books that I like, but can always go to the library if I want to read one again. And - I remember having to donate most of my mother's extensive shelves of books to 2 libraries after she passed away.

I am checking with a local Christian school, the high school and senior center first. The senior center is also a great place for jigsaw puzzles.

I recently cleared several shelves of books lately too. Very true -- if I want to read them again I can go to the library. Most likely I won't want to read them; there's too many books in the world I haven't read yet. It's funny how your books are a kind of security but you feel lighter when you get rid of them.

I have been sewing a lot. I've finished 11 of my UFO's for the guild for the year, led the mystery quilt program, and discovered the 3-yard quilt books that have me finally making a dent in my fabric stash.

I love your quilt, Judith.

Maybe I need to get one of the 3-yard quilt books to use up some of my stash.
