Beautiful Linda, I love them all. I know you are happy to have that much finished on them.

Linda you have been busy. Love it all! Looks like you have been successful at using up some scraps. I like bright and black but have trouble sewing on black lately.

Amazing quilts! Did you sew all those triangles together or did they come as bigger blocks for the swap? That one looks very intimidating to me LOL!

LOL! Yes, Heather. I sewed all of the triangles together. The swap was for a specific number of triangles, one of which was to have your name and city/state on it. I sewed everyone's set that I received together in a row, and added a few of mine to make it longer. Since that version of the quilt was way too long, this is the version I came up with. And that is a lot of triangles.
I almost have the corner squares finished and will change out the unfinished picture of the top when I finish this the last square this afternoon.

I remember that swap and was in it. I was neglectful and didn't send all of them out. I had started to put mine together on point with a square of solid green between each one. I may eventually embroider on those.

I will have to count all the triangles. A lot of them are ones I added; at least one of the gals were from overseas.

I'm working on crochet bandanas for the Powderhorn Art Fair in August. How much do people think I should price them?

Marie -
I will have to look and see if your name is on one of the triangles.

Wow Linda! You have been very busy and those all look fabulous. What a great week.
Marie, your bandana looks great. I am not sure what you should price it at though.
I have started working on my beginner Nellie Will-Do badge. I have chosen to use latch hook as my art of choice. For the beginner project I am making a pillow. I have completed 4 rows already and I really love it!

Linda - Your corners look great! If I ever made a quilt like that I think I'd wrap it in plastic (or whatever method is approved for preserving quilts) and not let anyone touch it! I am amazed! I might attempt a pot holder or mini wall quilt, but I honestly don't think I'd be brave enough to try a full quilt with that many pieces.
Judith - did you do something crazy like that in the past? I think I remember something about over 1000 pieces while your husband was hunting or something... You ladies and your quilts are amazing!
Marie - pretty yarn choice!

Is that needle punch or just embroidery? (I've been wanting to try needle punching.) It turned out great!

Shennandoah, that looks great!
Heather, I have been looking at the needle punching too. It looks so fun. But I have many other projects to finish first.

Needle punch looks like so much fun! I also have so many projects! Plus, I have one more Christmas stocking to make this year! Our Granddaughter and her Husband are expecting a little boy in August (GreatGrand #7). Also, many quilts to make, an afghan to finish, and my Butterfly sweater to complete. Yippee, no time to be bored.
