Yep! It’s that time of year again when we put away our last remembrances of Summer …
Pull out our favorite snuggly sweaters and start adding cinnamon cloves and nutmeg spices to our favorite dessert and coffees…
Happy Fall ya’all…

Oh I wish but fall will not show up here until the autumnal equinox comes around. Then we MIGHT see a change and get a few fall temps and the whispers of a promise of fall to be coming.

On the plus side, it’s supposed to rain most of the day tomorrow up here on the west side of Spokane, Washington… So I will get to have an excuse to play in my sewing room rather than work out on the property.

Love the gnomes, Grace! And so happy to see you back on here - you've been missed! While the temps aren't very fall-like, there are signs of it starting to appear. I'm ready! I think I'm going to get my fall decorations out this week. Maybe it'll help Michele's weather head this way :)

Hey Grace! Awww how cute are your gnomes.
Fall is on the way, we got rain , lots of yellow leaves on the ground, when we get a wind, a few more coming floating down. We have very tall trees, fun to watch them for a bit to get to The ground . We have 100, 99, temps for about4 days, then a break.
Hope it's the last heat wave!

Grace, I am so happy you still enjoy the gnome I made! He really loves being one of your first fall decorations lol! Fall is slowly coming in here. Our night temps are getting pretty chilly, but the days are still warm. I put up my fall decorations on Saturday.

Hi, Grace! I hope that you were not super close to the fires. My son and his family live right across from Hays Park on Gordon. Too close for comfort for Mom as I live in Southern California. I hope all is well for you and yours.

Ahh,, Thank you Nancy..
Yes between the fires down in the San Diego area (and others), and up here in Spokane WA.,, it's been a crazy year for fires, that being said,, it seems that the past 9 years, the fires up here (all of WA) are becoming way to frequent..
Sadly the one by us that nearly decimated the west side of Spokane was started by an arsonist!! :>(

Grace, I love your gnome all decked out for Fall. So cute! Well, I fear Fall is not arriving here for a long time. We can't seem to break out of constant oppressive heat and humidity every day down here in Florida.d
Perhaps October will start showing changes before we hit Halloween. However, inside my house, it IS Fall. I always love getting out my old decorations and enjoying them like old friends that come every year to visit.

Winnie,, every time I start to re-think about maybe moving to our property in Dunnlon (boundaries changed and it's no longer considered Ocala where our property is) someone
mentions the heat and humidity and I crawl back into my 'spokane shell'.. LOL!

Too hot in SC, currently 101*. I am hearing high 70's end of next week. We call that a false Autumn. Weather will be hot and miserable again. 70's is perfect weather for apple picking.

Today's good mood brought to you by a lot of coffee!!!

Tara,, 70’ degrees is perfect almost every where… the problem is, I wanna go play rather than do obligatory work around the property and house when the weather is in the 70s… Lol!
