I always keep a little box of sugar cubes on hand for my tea…
I don’t know what it is about sugar cubes and tea but it just seems so right.
Though lately I have been buying the rock Candy version of sugar cubes specific for tea,,, which is equally nice and doesn’t crumble apart.
Anybody else still drink their tea with sugar cubes or rock candy?

How fun! I wish I could say that I do, but I'm not even sure I've seen sugar cubes in the store. I've had rock candy for a treat (usually black cherry or apple flavored) but I never thought to put it in tea.

Heather, the Walmart up here still carries boxed sugar cubes but in limited quantities… I always keep a box in my pantry…
As a child, it was a treat to accompany my mom to her ladies afternoon tea get-togethers, where sugar cubes were always a main stay along with egg salad sandwiches with the crust cut off and pound cake with lemon drizzle..
It was such a special time in this little girl‘s life…

Grace, I love your cup! It's perfect for tea time! The only tea I put sugar in is black tea, but I just use normal sugar. I have never purchased sugar cubes before. Your moms get-togethers sound wonderful. I would love to attend a party like that.

I've used sugar, monkfruit, stevia and honey in my tea, but not sugar cubes yet. Need to look for them.

I don't have anything that I drink that has sugar in it. Mostly drink hot tea, water or unsweetened cold tea.
I use to buy the sugar cubes for others to use for their tea, but haven't gotten them in a long time.
Your mom's get togethers sound fun. It is too bad people don't do that anymore.
