I agree with you Bonnie. I used run childcare out of my home when my oldest son was 2 1/2. I had a 6 month old baby, a 6 wk. old, a 2 year old and my 2 1/2 old son. I was exhausted at the end of the day.

Now, if anyone wants to know what to do with flies......let me know....we have tried every known fly catching product on the farm.

Well, back to the kitchen ....pies in the oven, applesauce on the stove....stuffed cabbages baking, too......foody afternoon...no time to sew...maybe tonight.

Bev. I haven't had a chance to sew either. I have been taking care of orders, Ebay sales, then off to do several errands, and I even forgot to do one errand, and the other place I was to go was closed.

Oh, Jess........duh

http://freespace.virgin.net/f.lea/kirguide1.html

The girl has some great ideas for Ren wear..........easy and for the most part patternless.

Sorry I was drop dead tired last night and forgot to paste the URL in the message.........Worked all day, haven't been back on the 'puter until now. Sorry I missed that treadle, BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..............this guy I work with at the fabric shop, well, he and his wife collect EVERYTHING. They have three storage units with junk........I asked to day if he had any treadles and he said a whole wall full of them with the little wooden boxes that unroll with the attachments!!! OMG...........SO.........I get to go and pick one very, very soon!!!!!! HOT DOG!!! This job at Hancocks is really paying off!!!!!

The apron colors are true to what Jess said -- maybe Bonne's picture is cut off for me? I see the lady fabric and below it a daisy one. And no fabric to the left of those. And I don't see any patterns in that photo.

This is a mystery that demands to be solved! I want to see the hex fabric, because I had 'heks' in my maiden name -- pronounced hex.

Leezard......your aprons are beautiful....love the handmade bias tape. I also make and use it. Such a very nice touch to an apron.

I'm really tired tonight all. Going to bed really early. Can't keep my eyes open.

Hugs,
G

Georgann, Thanks for the link I see a 1569 gown in my future! I even have dome deap burgandy/purpley silk. Been waiting for Joanns to have that 75% off the clearance price sale again. I run around and buy up all of the 60" bolts.

Yes! there should be a "clean sweep" clearance
in the near future, shouldn't there?

"Columbus woman nicknamed, 'Tasmanian Devil', was witnessed
at a local fabric shop scooping up bolts of fabric at breakneck speed.
According to authorities, she hits like lightning, then disappears in a
cloud of fabric lint"

Bonne, Maybe we should all make a pilgrimage to the Joannes Corp Store.

Well how can you not get it all, when they have 100% silk dupioni marked down to $2.25 a yard in good colors for ren dresses. If I didnt have 3 sloppy boys, I would have grabbed enough to redo the 2 sofas. Oh maybe one day I can have a silk sofa.
