Hi everyone. I have been gone for a while and miss this place! I lost my job and want to start a small craft type business. I already make handmade cards, but would like to try some new things such as body care items. I was wondering if any of you soapmakers could help me with soapmaking. I have never done this before and would like the basics such as: basic equipment needed and a basic soap recipe that I could try. I would appreciate any help from you all because you have the working knowledge about this. I have check some websites, but don't feel quite confident yet to try my first batch of soap. Thanks! Hi Alee, I just read all the threads. Thanks for bumping them up. There is a lot of good information. I think I have all the information I need now I just need to get the rest of the ingredients and DO IT!!! I'll let you all know when I make my first batch. Thanks, Cheryl
