Kathie, I cannot believe I am typing this but I will be done with my aprons tonight. I have 4 left and then I am done. I was home with sick girls all day so I was able to work on them. I even squeezed in a lifetime movie and a cooking show. I plan to mail them out tomorrow afternoon. Same address as I have sent you things before right? 16 aprons, self addressed envelope with paid postage ?
I have so many projects I want to do and cannot bring myself to do them until these were done and sent out. If I waited until my hubby gets home next week I will forget about it,I like to give him all my attention the two weeks he is in. I also want to spend some time with the girls this week, summer is going by so quickly.
You guys take care/ My idea of camping is a nice hotel! I like to fish but my husband has to touch the fish and the worm. When he takes the girls and I fishing he hardly gets to fish from taking care of our stuff-- poor man!! He is the only guy in our house besides the dog and the cat.
Back to those aprons. |

Dang it! i am such a slacker!
You all want to know what i have been doing? Sewing regula Aprons!
Nothing i need!! Nothing for a swap.. or anything i have committed to!!
Not even anything I have promiosed anyone!!
Just doing it!! i am such an idiot!! & it'snot as if i don't have a Trillion other things i SHOULD be doing!! i DO have things with a dead line that i'm screwing off making aprons on that i am NOT getting the other things done because of.. ( make sense..? ) DUH!!
I just need to make the switch in gears..& i'll get them done..
ahhhhh..
But then.. there is all that beautiful fabric sitting there.. just waiting.. & WANTING to be an Apron!

Here are my Mini's............... I had to take a picture of all of them! I think I took this at 1 in the morning! I am SO glad they are done!!!

| I am not putting pockets on my aprons. It is too hard to make those darn little squares and then sew them on??!! So, mine will be a little plain. See, I am adapting to the spirit of we do what we can and then share it! Mine are cute too though because I used my embroidery machine to do little designs on them. I would not really be able to put a pocket on them anyway. :) |

| I have no feeling in my fingers from steaming down the seams on the pockets and then waistbands! The embroidery sounds really cute to me! Next time I am using binding for sure!!! I felt a sense of accomplishment every time I added an apron to the cork board!!!!! |
