I'm Stacey and I just got MaryJane's Stitching Room book and that's how I find this site! I'm a quilter and stitcher, knitter, and just an all around crafter. I grew up in East Texas, but currently live in the city :( One day I'll get back to the country! And I can't wait until that happens!
I'm having so much fun looking at all of your blogs and learning about you all! Can't wait to get to know you more!
Btw...I'm 32, married to my superman and have the most beautiful little princess around! Nora Rose is my daily joy! When I'm not playing dressups with miss priss, I'm sewing or out shopping for junk ;)
Here is one of my blogs and you can connect to my others through there... www.samichals.typepad.com/annegirl Anyone else in Texas? |

Thank you all for the warm welcome!
vintagechica...I hate you are leaving town ;) I love going out to weatherford for peaches though!
heather...I love Tyler. I grew up about 45 min east of there. I wish my husband could find a job out there because I'd move in a heartbeat!
alee...my nora is named after my great grandmother. her name was actually molly manora, but everyone jsut called her nora. i adored her! she was a quilter. rose, which is my daughter's middle name, was my dh's grandmother. she too was a quilter. my mil is a quilter and so i'm hoping and keeping my fingers crossed that my little nora rose will one day pick up the art! she currently ahs a grand love for fabric!
