                      | top one = Suzyhomemakers is 256 yoyo using mini cd as template
the bottom one: 21 inches wide not sure on the length yet but about 25 inches. I am still working on will have 500 in it when done it has 495 at the moment I have to make 5 more that is why the bottom of the photo looks ruff those are spots I left to add more yoyo's. the corners don't have a yoyo in them I notched them so don't count those 4 but who know I may make those as well while I am at it it would be all of 9 yoyos then left to make.

if you look close at the top of the bottom photo you can see the third yoyo blanket I am making that is the one for my 5 year olds bed that one is the size we are swapping and that is where mine and my daughters yoyo's from the swap will go (they will be added to this quilt/coverlet)

                      | I was asked in email what the seams look like on big yoyos my seams are bigger ( meaning longer and I go over them 2 or 3 times as they get snagged easily and tear out seams ( because of the spaces holes between the yoyos). also each is started and ended with a little knot I don't know if you can see them in these photos.
With little ones I do about six stitches pretty much on top of each other and travel through the yoyo to the next spot not as much knot typing with little yoyos. But takes more yoyos to cover the same area. Trade offs.

                      | WOW!! So many yo-yos. They look wonderful.
The quilt looks lovely, sunshine. I can't wait to see it and touch it and hang it up.

Also, thanks for the sewing tips on putting them together. I have only made the garland, and I did not make as many stitches to hold each one to the next. Now I know when I move on to a coverlet.

This has been so much fun. I did get the ones that my mom gave me sewed together to display it. Very small but very sweet with memories.

 Thanks,

                      | Hi Patricia! I use most of my yo yo hearts as embellishments...jean purses, pillow cases, little girls head bands, cards, the list goes on! To make a doily, etc. sew as Sunshine has demonstrated for a round yo yo but use side to side and tip into the V. Hope that helps some ! I need to learn how to post pictures!
 Hugs,
 Maryjane Lee
