Hello, Lena here, with an invitation for you. I've been a part of this online community for a little while now, and I have noticed that quite a lot of you do beautiful artwork, and have businesses that you should be proud of.

I've had my own web site for about a year or so, but I have been so inspired by all of you I decided to revamp the whole thing. I'm an artist, so yes, you can see art there. But I want it to be so much more... I want the site to be a place that is interactive, where people can chat about art, or their businesses (the handmade soap is art in my opinion...)and where we can exchange ideas.

It is a site about art, and a site about farm life. It is a site about sharing, and connecting as a group to become more successful. By "successful," I mean your definition of success, whatever that is.

To that end, I've tried to make it very personal, and I would like to showcase the work of my online friends, the farmgirls and others. I plan to create a page with pictures and links to other sites, ones that I support and believe in, like yours and MJ's.

If you have a site you would like to link to mine, please feel free to email me, and I'll work with you to create a link that will make people want to visit your website. Those of you without websites, we'll think of something! Maybe I can showcase your work in my newsletter, with an email where a person can order.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Your website is absolutely inviting. I looked at everything on it. I can appreciate your "off-centered" thinking, (which is only a matter of perspective) because two of our boys are in the field of arts. They are both art teachers, both are very talented on paper with most mediums, however, one is most interested in illustrations and animation and the other has found his niche with pottery. Our oldest painted a mural on the bedroom walls when their twins were born of Winnie the Pooh. They were awesome! The one who works with pottery, has his own wheel and kiln already, but no shop to put them in, so he borrows from the university he attends for the time being, and he has made some really outstanding pieces already. Our oldest who did the mural would like to get more into doing that free-lance, however teaching and coaching keeps 9 months of his year pretty full. I told hime just to take on one project each summer and it will spread by word of mouth the quality of his work. God-willing he will have plenty of time to pursue that down the road.

I particularly love your photography. I'm not a photographer, but I love to take pictures, (just ask my family), without patting myself too hard on my back, I think I have a pretty good eye for what to capture. The kinds of pictures you have on your site are the kinds that I enjoy taking, too, along with candid people, landscape, flowers and barns. I know what you mean about capturing just the right moment. It's a snapshot of history right there on your paper - you can hold it in your hand forever.

Well, enough of my ramblings, just wanted you to know that you have unbelievable talent and I truly appreciate your view on the world. God bless continuely bless you with a unique perspective to showcase His handiwork.

In His hands,
Lynda

Pray in faith and you will not live in doubt.
