I have three friends:
One has two boys born of lots of fertility treatment 10 years ago, she never dreamed she could have another.
One has two kids and was DONE, she never dreamed she would have another.
One was on the pill for 6 years and has been trying for a long time now to have a baby.
Last fall I helped them all to get the bad food and products out of their lives, and encouraged them in healthy organic living.
One day in January I offered two of them some liquid chlorophyll, they both got pregnant that very week. I told friend #3 the story and sent her home with a bottle of the green juice. That was 6 or 7 weeks ago, now she has morning sickness!
What do you think? I had no idea that this could happen, but I think there is a link. If any of you are up for trying this let me know what happens.
PS. They are all looking forward to mothering their newborns.

Wow, if only it could be that easy. My daughter has suffered (and I DO mean SUFFERED) six miscarriages. I bet she would try the liquid chlorophyll. Only problem is, she just had a miscarriage (twins) and is not supposed to get pregnant again for a while. AND in September her husband is off for his second tour in Iraq. Maybe it would be a good idea, however, for her to change her diet and get herself ready. In a year and a half, things could be a lot better for her. She is bipolar and has polycystic ovarian syndrome. Hormonal Imbalance seems to be the cause for her miscarriages. Her progesterone drops too much when she gets pregnant, apparently related to PCOS. She is adopted, her birth mother was adopted, and now it looks as if she will have to adopt also.

| Oh Nancy (Quiltedss), how very sorry I am to hear about your poor daughter.Poor darling. I had one miscarriage while we were in Germany and my husband was posted off elsewhere, so I know how miserable that is. Where does she live? Maybe some of us farmgirls that live near her could take her a meal or send her a card or something.I also have a daughter who is Bipolar , so I know what you go thru to a small extent.The worry NEVER ends.Please know there are many here with you in prayers and spirit...Diane |

Nancy, My heart goes out to you and your daughter. I have experienced the pain of miscarriage... God bless her and help her be strong...and you too! WE care...

Thank you for your kind words, it really means a lot. My daughter is in Oak Grove, KY. Her hubby is stationed at Fort Campbell (101st). It has been difficult for her to get the specialized medical care she needs for this condition (infertility) because there are many hoops to go through. She is willing to try one more time, after Brian gets back from Iraq. But if it doesn't work, they will adopt. It is just too hard emotionally to go through losing another baby. Adoption is hard too, though, and often, at least for us, the kids that are up for adoption have come from some awful situations and have special needs. Although, either way she stand a good chance of having a child with special needs. Based on her bio-family history, she's been told that there's a 60% chance of her own child being bi-polar. It is difficult and the worry WILL never end.

I'm very sorry to hear about your daughter's condition. I too have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome but was able to conceive through infertility treatments after our natural approaches didn't work. (During our natural approach I had several miscarriages because of low progesterone.) I got pregnant with identical twins but one passed on. I was on progesterone supplements from 2 days after I ovulated until 15 weeks. We now have a healthy 13 month old daughter. When I was first diagnosed I had never heard of the condition before so I started an MSN group for support. We now have over 300 members! Please send my deepest regards to your daughter as I've walked where she is now.

My best friend has PCOS and she changed her diet (she was trying to lose weight) and BOOM she got pregnant. Had her daughter at the age of 40. I do believe there is something behind eating well and organically.

This is very true but I've always been at a healthy weight, we eat organically (even more so in my younger days), and excercise regularly. There are some exceptions to the rule. Weight is definately an issue with a lot of those with PCOS however some of us with PCOS come skinny. :( We don't have the option to lose weight to kick start our ovaries. I have heard of this happening a lot. Congrats to your friend!

Nancy there are so many possiblities out there for women who have problem with fertility. My sister-in-law, Melanie tried for 10 years to have a baby, many miscarriages so many fertility drugs and hormones and therapies. And finally two years ago she gave birth to a healthy, amazingly intelligent little boy that I love to death. I she can do it, anyone can.

I am an acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. I treat women every day for fertility, women with PCOS can be induced to ovulate with acupuncture and herbs can build up their strength and blood (which becomes weak after so much bleeding, so many miscarriages..). It can also help balance hormones including progesterone. I just treated a woman today who is 44 and pregnant through combination In vitro and acupuncture. Her dr told her she is only the 2nd woman above 42 he's ever seen get preg!!
Acupuncture has been proven to reduce miscarriage rates in women going through western medical fertility treatments!
If your daughter wants to pursue it she can look up a practitioner at www.nccaom.org. I know of a woman practitioner in KY named Shelly Oaks, if she happens to be close enough to your daughter...she should be on that website
Tell her not to give up. I treat alot of women for problems in pregnancy also. I can't tell you how many of them told me they went through years of fertility treatments and drs telling them they could never get pregnant and VOILA - one day on their own it happened. These women had PCOS and unexplained fertility.
Also fertilityretreats.com has alot of great info on acupuncture, chinese herbs and fertility...

Just recently we decided to have my daughter move "home" while her husband is in Iraq. While she's here I'm going to help her do some research. I have been interested in acupuncture, would love to try it sometime. But I DON'T want to get pregnant!!!
