Thanks, Jonni! Isn't there some saying about there being no rest for the wicked?!?! LOL!!! and Tammy - it's great to "see" you, too! I'm glad that you're posting again, and a big farmgirl "WELCOME BACK" to you, also! I'm loving life on the farm here - and the garden? Geez - it's more like a jungle. I got so ambitious with my planting, and then I can hardly stand to thin things because I feel bad for the plants I pull out (silly, I know), but now, late in the season, I can harldy see what I have! I discovered some parsley the other day - underneath about three feet of tomato plant "arms," and I'm just SURE that there's some chervil under there somewhere, too!
XOXO, Libbie

Libbie, we ate salmon in honor of you last night! Thought we might "share a meal" together. I wish everyone could come up for dinner! I had sourdough bread made from sourdough starter that was courtesy of Ronna in Nevada. I baked a "banana bread" that is unbelievable from Peg in Chesapeake....... (the recipe that is)! Hello again everyone....... jo

Thank you so much Jeannie - it's really so good to be back, and it's great to hear your "voice," again, too. And talk about exuding things - I always feel the calmness and serenity of who you are - it comes through even in this "digital world." Thanks, again!
XOXO, Libbie

Welcome back Libbie!
I've missed your posts, but also knew you'd be busy this time of year. We "Four Country Gals" south of you have been about that busy ourselves.
Maybe now that the weather is cooling, and most of the crops are nearly finished, there'll be more computer time.
Of course for me, the writer, I'll get busier... that's the way life goes, isn't it.
Good to know you're back. We still need to find a way to get together.

We sure do, Shari - I would love to meet you in person. Do you ever get up to the Richfield area? I'll bet you all have been SO busy - that's just how it goes sometimes, isn't it? Thanks so much for the welcome back - and, by the way, HUGE congratulations on that first pullet egg! Aren't they just darling? It takes about five of them to make an omelet, but still - they are so darn cute...
XOXO, Libbie

Get to the Ridgefield area? We're fortunate to get to Cedar City once a month! With Bev driving the Enterprise Senior Citizen's Bus, we get to St. George twice a month, but going north... well, that would be a special trip, for sure.
Hopefully in a month or two (just in time for Cindy to get laid off), we'll have exhausted all the summer spending (triple the size of the horse stable, purchase '70 Ford Ranger F-100 for farm truck, buy three stacks of hay (150 bales), and God knows what other projects... oh, buy two more horses and pay for the sheep we got.
I'm sure we'll find a way to get together, even if we end up waiting until spring.

Hey Libbie...I will be in Richfield on the 25th for the Taste of home cooking show. One of my best friends is "running" the whole thing and I agreed to take tickets for the reserved hitting and help out (I get to get in free and see the show and get a goodie bag and lunch) I have to be down at the place (some arena) at 11am..maybe we can meet for breakfast???? I will be there until late..or if you want to come to it I bet we could find each other!! Lets get together soon for sure!

Thanks, Kim! I really feel like this is "home" for us, too. Isn't it amazing to discover a place where we can all feel like we belong - and the coolest thing, is that since farmgirls come in all shapes, sizes, colors and dispositions, WE ALL DO!!! Thank you so much again for the welcome and kind words - I've missed you, too.
XOXO, Libbie
