Monica, I visited your blog and left you a comment...See, it was easy putting that button on...now wasn't it? I give good instructions too, right?
So far so good since Miss Morgan licked the medicine off Thomas's finger..no puking! YAY!!!! and she's sleeping.
Bonne, we'll see who fills the slot tomorrow..someone better post something!
Jess, the batik and skull quilt rocks!
Teresa, I'd loose my mind with all that snow y'all get...I hope y'all are not still making the national news! It's either record snowfall or flooding.

Yes, we permanently have water and what a relief it is. We have waited 48 hours to make sure, tomorrow we will finally finally be able to put the tub back in. Yippeee, a shower in my own house, happy happy dance for me.
I love all the stuff you gals are doing and our resident design woman that we are consulting. Autumn, I know we love those styles but in truth, they won't work for me either. 5'6 and weight gains have not made my wardrobe too lovely. Been thinking about dresses thanks to bonne, comfortable and nice. I shall have to go a looking at this rate. I cannot even believe I am saying that.
Heading for bed, had optical migraine today and wiped this girl completely out. Will catch up tomorrow with you all again.

Jess, go to the blog www.avintagecollection.blogspot.com and you'll see two different sized buttons for A Vintage Collection..you may want to use the smaller one since your blog column isn't super wide...right click to save to your harddrive..then upload to blogger using a Picture Gadget in your layout section..and save it...you shouldn't have to add the "link to" stuff since I've got the code in the photo already..save it and look..you should be able to click on the button and it take you to my blog....hope that made sense. It's easy! Just go for it.

Jess, great quilt. I mostly do free motion...it is so much faster!! Hope Lexi is coming along well.
Bonne...the dress is great!
I am off to pattern shop this morning. Got up early and started another chicken quilt...appliqued....posted the beginning on my blog.
Steph...I will pick up one of your buttons for my blog, too. sorry to hear about Miss Morgan! You mentioned my lavender...sure hope it is warm and toasty under that blanket of snow!! I will see how it weathers, and maybe I might need to blanket it with straw like I do my strawberries.

Fabulous quilt Jess!! Carol Sue~both you and Teresa should be raiding the fabric barn and planning your spring dresses. I'm not buying any new fabric~I'm using up what I have~you'd probably be surprised at what you already have and it will only cost you the price of a pattern (which are 99cents at Joann's right now~Simplicity) It's Farmgirl ideaology! You had to get creative with making your new dress for the barn dance! lol

After a day full of wardrobe counseling I decided on a pattern and have it ordered! YAY Bonne!!!! See- if any of you girls need design inspiration and counseling -SEE BONNE!!!! Anyway I did order a pattern and I'm gonna give it my best-ugh- I hope I can pull this off!!!! How lame is it to be 20 in your head and 50 in your body???? Seems a bit unfair but nothing I hate worse than "poor me" attitude so UP and away!!! I shall sew a dress !!!! And if I dont like it Ill sew the apron I just got a pattern for to wear over it!!!!

Stephanie~Your welcome!! I love your new blog. Sorry miss Morgan is not feeling well. 900 sq. ft.~my house in only 1100 sq. ft. I need to turn the whole house into a studio. LOL
Karin(in ME)~So sorry to hear about all your trouble with the terrible weather. Hope it gets better soon.
Karin(in GA)~I can't wait for Apronology. So cool that your friend's apron is in it.
Bev~So thrilled your apron is in there. They are gorgeous.

Bonne~Wow! A dress for Autumn and another new one for you. Girl you are amazing. Imagine you get all this done and you don't even have your yurt yet. My daughter had to build a model of a yurt for history one year.
Jess~YEAH!! You get the barn. How cool that will be. You will have to post pictures.

Bonne~I want to have a bigger garden this year and do some canning, too.
I have always wanted to grow lavandar. Maybe this will be the year.
Teresa~My neighbors, two older retired sisters, have a shed in their yard that they use for crafting. It is so cute.
Jess~I love the quilt. Great job!!

Wow Bonne, you are a force to be reckoned with, what a dazzling new dress!
Teresa, glad to here that boy is feeling a bit better.
Steph, I hope Miss Morgan is feeling better too. I hate it when the furballs get sick, they are so pathetic.
I am trying not to have a temper tantrum. My car won't start again, my phone still doesn't work and when I tried calling them on my daughter's cell phone they dsaid my account coulodn't be "accessed" if it has been dropped or suspended, neither of which is the case. I called a friend on Zan's phone and she finally managed to talk to a human there and so the phone company said they will come check things out...Of course the car still won't start but I guess I'll wait till the phones are fixed before I call the car boys again. They are waiting for a p0art supposedly, of course since my phone hasn't worked for 2 days...ok, rant over.
Jess, that quilt is so zippy, and the backing fabric is too cute. Sorry to hear Lexie is still feeling a bit off, I'm sure time will resolve the problem, but it is so upsetting.
Ok, I'm off to Steph's blog again...

Karin, You're having what I refer to as a "twilight zone" day! Strange and unnecessary stuff happening...Just ask Carol Sue, up until a few days ago she's been living in the twilight zone for weeks. I'm so happy she has water flowing the correct way..
Karin, your car doesn't like this cold weather! It's sick of the howling wind..LOL And I guess your phone lines are too. A few decades ago I lived in a very small town with an independent phone company and somedays I felt like I was living on Green Acres.

Autumn, really it's ok to be young at heart...I sure am..but my body has decided to be a real prankster the past few years..It's really tested my sense of humor.

Thanks to everyone...We got 2 doses of the meds down Miss Morgan (without puking involved)....she's sleeping...but overnight she didn't do her #2 business so now I watching to make sure the meds haven't constipated her....geesh, the life of a tiny doggie..they are so fragile and she's got pathetic down to a fine art.
Bev, Thanks for adding my button! Do you like the button I made with your apron pics? It's on my Queen of Dreamsz blog if anyone wants to see it.
And I bet your lavender crop will be good this year..the lady I bought from many years ago has a lavender farm in Montana..don't remember is she covered them for the winter or not. But I'd think if a lavender plant can withstand a Montana winter that yours will be happy!

I have just a minute to say hi! I am making cake for my friends baby shower tonight and I am hoping I don't run out of time!
Steph, I love the vintage chintz trim! It's so pretty! I hope Miss Morgan is doing well!
Jess, I hope Lexi is feeling better! As I said before it took a couple weeks to feel better when I hit my head! I will keep her in my prayers!
If I may ask, Please keep my niece's friend Tyler in your prayers! I guess his mom left years ago and his dad drinks and Tyler tried to commit suicide! He is only 14 years old! He doesn't have many friends. He drinks and does drugs, but my niece has befriended him and she is really shook up over this! He is in the hospital right now so if you will all keep him in your prayers it would be much appreciated!
Karin, I hope you get your car going!

Monica, I'm sorry to hear about Tyler..so young.. I thought it was tough when I was that age..the kids today live with more peer pressure than ever it seems. Living with a parent that refuses to be a good example doesn't help matters at all..quite scary..He's in my prayers..maybe your neice can wind up being the one that can turn him around.

Stephanie~I love the button you made with Bev's aprons on it. I also love the cover of the Cloth Paper Scissors issue you have on your blog. So many goodies!! Hope Miss Morgan is much better today.
Karin~I hope your car and phone are repaired soon. What a pain and you don't need to deal with this with all the cold.
Monica~So sorry to hear about Tyler. It is really so sad. Praying here.
Jess~I hope Lexi is doing much better today. I can imagine that it's difficult for her to not be herself. Tough when you don't know what to do to help them. Ruth

Steph, I have to say, I have never heard of Cloth Paper Scissors, but it looks really cool so I may have to go check it out especially considering I was just thinking that I need one more craft thing to get involved in! haha!! NOT! But they are all so fun!
Thank you for the prayers for Tyler! It really breaks my heart to see a young kid in such a bad situation! My niece does keep trying to talk to him! Who knows maybe now it will get through to him!

Monica, go to http://www.quiltingarts.com/cpsmag/cpshome.html and you can read about cloth paper scissors mag and they also publish Quilting Arts magazine...most of the time you'll have to either go to a big bookstore magazine section or order online. I've got every issue of the cloth paper scissors..I think it came out in 2004.

And then there's http://www.stampington.com/ for all the other specialty mags....this is who will publish the Apron-ology issue that will have Bev's apron in it...stampington has fabulous publications..such great inspiration and techniques that you'd never hear of in the mainstream magazines.

Well, being thwarted led me to try and post a few more items on my blog, apparently I can't do anything with mechanical stuff today, it uploaded one thing twice and left a couple off. Ah well.
Monica, how sad, poor kiddo, it is such a different world these kids are growing up in, being bombarded with information all day and add family trouble. I'll send good thoughts his way and hope to hear he will get the help he needs.
dGlad to hear you managed to get a couple of doses of meds down Miss Morgan, and no puking. I love trying to give pills to my cats, usually they get spat out several times so each attempt is more revolting....the things we do for our furry friends. She is such a tiny thing, I'm sure that she can do pathetic really well.
Bonne, have you created any more fabulous garments since this morning?
I oredered a copy of Apronology too. Still haven't received the latest MaryJane magazine. I'm starting to work up a conspiracy theory about all my missing mags. I try to remind myself that when you live out in the puckerbrush, that is just how life works....
It has warmed up a bit, that is a nice change...well enough whining from me...
