Hello There guys...well...technically, the post is not "marketplace" since I am not trying to sell a product...but because I've looked around at the forums and noticed so many of us are talented, I was hoping to profile a few of you for the next edition of our online magazine. I've actually posted something similar in "entrepreneur" so please forgive me, I don't mean to overstep....
Bigtown Farmer is really about bringing the country to city life. I really think that we can all benefit from each other, so if you would like a little more exposure, and you don't mind writing a small blurb (or large blurb!) about your business, with maybe a pic or two, we are looking for 10 "handmade" businesses to profile.

I am not sure how to PM you but I would be interested if an artist would be a suitable farm related business. I paint rural scenes, farm animals as well as other animals, barns, Amish since I am in Amish country. I have an organic farming, market gardening, horse business background so that covers alot of bases in farming! I use all of those experiences as well as the farm and rural community as inspiration.

| I'm not sure about the pm either. But I make an original stuff dog named PeeWeeDog. One ear is embroidered with the child's name the other with their birthdate. Each tail is embroidered with PeeWeeDog#-- I am on number 51 right now. The fabric design. so far has been chosen by either the child or parent. I have one at www.gafarmwoman.etsy.com. They also come with an adoption certificate with the date, child's name and the PeeWeeDog#, and a picture story page about PeeWeeDog. http://georgiafarmwoman.blogspot.com/ Thanks. |
