Well, after being absent for quite a while I have made my way back to the "farm." I have missed all of you and I guess the time has come to accept those things I cannot change. One of my twin sons has just returned home after his basic training and AIT training in the Army and I have come to terms with the fact that his brother and my ohter son is leaving in January. I am adjusting to my daughter being a single mom after her husband decided to walk out on her and two babies.
So, now I think I have my ducks in a row and need to connect with friends again. If I owe anyone anything please let me know and I apologize for not getting it out to you. I know I owe Sunshine an apology for bailing out on the Halloween swap. I know you go to a lot of effort to host these swaps Sunshine and I am truly sorry for leaving you hanging. If there is anything I can do to make it up to you please don't hesitate to ask.
I know there are lots of new faces to get acquainted with and I look forward to doing so as well as reconnecting with old friends.
I look forward to sharing the Christmas holidays with all of you and the New Year. Kathy in Kentucky |

Yay Kathy, We have all been wondering how you are. Glad to hear things are settling down for you. Will be keeping you and your family in prayer. Will you be doing your etsy again? Look forward to "seeing " you again here at the farm. Hugs, Denise

Hi Kathy!
I am one of the new faces. I just wanted to say hi to a Farmgirl from Russellville. I lived in Bowling Green for about 6 years, while going to WKU and until I got married and moved north! Have a great week!

I am new too, I was raised in Little Rock. I have been in Louisiana since 1979.
Real life gets in the way sometimes, it happens to everyone at some point. I hope you are getting to a smoother road now.

Hey Kathy! Sounds like you've got a lot of irons in the fire, but we're so glad you're back. I was thinking about you a few days ago, wondering if you had been working on your wares, and places to sell them. Sounds like you might not have had any time, though
Anyhoo, so glad you're back!!!

Hi Kathy! I've wondered where you were. (Although I can't say much...I haven't had the time to post here much lately either.) I miss everybody so much when that happens! Welcome back, Farmgirl Sister! Still making candles? And crocheting in the rocker? |

The candles have fallen by the wayside. They have become another victim of the high price of fuel so the wax just got so outrageous to buy and sales were down at craft shows. Other candle makers are experiencing the same dilemna, I am sure it is a cycle. My crocheting as turned to embroidery these days, trying to get a quilt done for Christmas, making potholders and anything else I can fit under that sewing machine needle. I hope things are good in Georgia. Kathy |
