chilly here in kentuck this sunday morning .. with a frosting of snow .. but we were going to surprize one of our 'own' with a large tourist sign that has been created for him to be posted in our town.
he's DAVE SHUFFETT .. known as MUDCAT to many of the locals. he is SUCH a cutie-patootie! with cheek dimples you could just fall into!
He is on a program that is aired locally here all the time KET TV .. he goes all over Kentucky highlighting our state and people. He was genuinely SPEECHLESS and surprized! I had such a nice talk with him .. and was pleased that he wanted to exchange e-mail addresses. His precious wife (also from our town) is very ill and i hope you will uphold her in your prayers!
after our 'presentation' .. we had our christmas house tour .. what a great time .. visiting homes and meeting even more new friends! hank and i love this town so much!
i sure hope YOUR hometown has such wonderful events and people too!
