I Tea Stained a pair of old pillow cases just to see if they would look nice. I like them. So I'm asking would something like this sell? It's an OAAK item, unless I can find some more old ones somewhere. How about a pair of valence curtains Tea Stained?
Hi Heather, well...I've heard of doing this to create an "antiqued" look to things such as Dollmaking fabric or doll dresses, and some tablecloths and such. I've done this to fabric to make it "older" looking, so I guess it depends on what people might be looking for, though it isn't unheard of.
heather .. i have a friend who uses tea stained fabrics and makes bed linens .. from pillowcases to comforters .. and they sell well! i believe there are several 'lines' of these out there on the market too. GO FOR IT! XO, FRANNIE
