Please add me too, frannie. You're going to need a ten gallon hat or a large garbage can to fit all the names in!

Frannie, I was thinking about something....you should really be making postcards for mailing out of the photos of the bunnies you take, in all their wanders. I know I would buy them!!!

That's great, Frannie!!! I thought of it because a friend of mine hand felts lifesized ducks, swans, ducklings, etc...for the play, The Ugly Duckling (they actually are all suspended like marionettes), and they're SO lifelike--just like your bunnies--and she puts them in nature scenes and sells the postcards as a fundraiser for the autism center she works for. Sells them in sets of 6 or so, different scenes.
p.s. I CAN'T WAIT for my bunnies, but then, you already knew that :)

Hey, priorities, I totally understand!!!! Oh, Frannie!!! It was just Monday night in Maysville! About 3000 folks showed up outside to see and 200 received tickets--they had 2 shows, and both George (looking DASHING in a dark suit, white shirt, and black velvet overcoat) and Renee Zellweger were there, and they signed autographs and took photos for hours before the screenings. The local basketball team just one their state finals, so they got to meet George and hang out for a bit in the spotlight, which was so neat for them since it's still a largely rural community.
He was really generous to his hometown--everyone who got tickets were from Maysville, and I think that's only fair--of course, we got a birds eye view with our local media coverage and it was really something special for that lovely river town!!!
I'm including a link to the local paper, the Maysville Ledger Independent so you can get the whole scoop!!! http://www.maysville-online.com/local_news/
There's even a video (and he looks FABULOUS) when you go to the home page that says at the top in purple "make sure to check out our local news..."

It's alright to be gah gah over him....I read an article about him in the NY Times a few months back that called him "the last Hollywood Star"...which I think is true--he could easily be Cary Grant or someone like that. Elegant and independent, intellectual and down to earth.
I loved Rosie, too, Frannie. She and her longtime love married at the Beehive Tavern in Augusta, where we eat dinner a lot. The lived in her pretty yellow federal house facing the river until, unfortunately, she passed away. They didn't have too many years together after all that waiting...
He does have a wonderful family, Frannie....I grew up on the racetrack (horseracing) with my dad, and "Uncle George" who George is named after was a constant fixture there...bless his heart, he always looked unshaven and a bit of a wreck, but he was a good man who liked his bourbon a little :) but, he raised Nick (George's father) and Rosemary because they're folks were "no count" as my dad said. When he died, I was young but we went to the funeral and George was there...but he was just George Clooney then, not a famous actor.
Nick is one of the nicest people you could ever meet. My good friend worked on his senate campaign a few years back and just adores him. I loved reading his bi-weekly column in our Kentucky Post, but they've done away with the afternoon paper, so no more column. He does a lot for the area though, and really is a true native son.

i saw a program, couple of months back on hgtv , i think and they featured the home of nick clooney and his wife. it just seemed like a beautiful home but not really over the top, and they talked about when george comes home that shortly after he arrives his hometown buddies arrive and it just sounded so normal, and not Hollywood at all. it is just refreshing to hear about a person who doesnt go over the deep end just because they become famous. do you think george is gonna marry this new girlfriend? i have never really been aware of him being so open about his romantic life, just always thought of him as the bachelor boy.

Nope, I don't think he will. He was asked a few days ago about kids and he just crinkled up his nose!!! Cracked me up!
Yes, Nick and Nina's house is very lovely, but nothing grand. Just like them, I think--wonderful folks and not an air about them.

gosh, jonni, i have enjoyed so much chatting with you today about mr. clooney, both of them! wish i could go on, cause i could go on and on and on, but today i start back up again picking up my little ones, (my grandkids) from school. well, i for one, wish george would get married and have a family, i think his children would be adorable. do you know anything about his siblings? are any of them just too cute for their own good, i am sure they are wonderful people too. okay, sorry to take up so much of your time, but as you can see, i am pretty starstruck! i love movies, and he is probably my number one guy! when my son got married in las vegas, i told my husband, i just have a feeling we are gonna meet george clooney, cause i heard he likes to go there. well, everytime we went outside there would be a limo,(ya know they are everywhere there, it doesnt mean anything) but i kept telling my dh, i think that is george, he much be following me. now it is a big joke in our family and the kids say, mom we saw a limosuine the other day, it was george clooney and he was looking for you. i have a sam elliott story too, but i will spare you and save it for later. thanks for the visit today, jonni, i really enjoyed it.

I've had such fun, too, Frannie...and yep, I've got some stories about his sister I can share with you. Oddly enough, she's not what you might think. She's a nice gal at any rate! I'm laughing about the limo!!! One Day Frannie, you just wait!!!!
I love Sam Elliott, and my mom does too, so I'd love to hear it when you get the time. Take care and have a lovely rest of your day :)

oooh, afew kinda hectic days around here, jonni. who doesnt love same elliott? i also love most of his movies, his voice, etc. etc etc. well, i think i have posted this befor, but my kids know who i am wobbly kneed for and mr. elliott is pretty high on the list. so my oldest works in a tavern in dallas and one day she called and said,(in a whisper) mom, guess who is here at the tavern? who, i whispered back. sam elliott! and the next thing i know he is on the phone speaking to me. hi, fran, how are ya doing? well i just reflexively go into my gah, gah mode, and pretty much acted foolish..... and then i said, wait a minute. what is your wife's name? well you guessed. it wasnt sam ellitt, just a fellow who sounded like him, although my daughter said he was a cute fireman. she also said, if i hadnt discovered the truth she intended to let me believe, forever that i had actually spoken to the sam elliott.
