Yup! I'm yelling! I could climb up to the roof and yell it from the rooftops I am so happy! The guy that hit and ran- totaling our car on Saturday morning had insurance!
Now, Doug, my insurance agent and I will be going to battle to get full value for the car plus other expenses and such that resulted from this how fiasco.
In the man's defense, he hadn't been dodging the police but rather works 3rd shift so was never home or was deep asleep when the police called, came by and when my agent called.
So keep us in your thoughts tomorrow please! We will be contacting his insurance and getting a claim going!

Kind of nice when the good guys win w/ out much fight.
I have been in an accident when the guy had no insurance.
We could have settled, but by the time the court date came around, I had already moved out of the state and working elsewhere.
Best wishes
Glad you are ok! |

Well, the claim is filed and I am supposed to hear back by Monday. Ugh. I wish this process was a little faster, but I am just so pleased that he had insurance that I can't be too upset by it!

I'm glad everything's working out. It's so nice when everyone plays by the rules and the system works the way it's supposed to! |
