How Would you Do If Your Home Caught Fire? good advice here.
some advice is just COMMON SENSE too!
Stocks that get a Boost when the Dollar Goes Down.
How to Avoid Costly Tax Mistakes this Filing Season.
A Credit Union May be Better Than a Bank .. How Anybody Can Join One.
Last Minutes Tax Deductions.
this one i loved!! "PEOPLE SKILLS" aRE mORE iMPIORTANT tHAN IQ .. HA! i've know THAT forever!
Foods that Seem Healthy .. But Really Are Not.
and on and on.
From time to time .. i'll post a 'tid-bit' from Bottom Line.
On my way to have my hair crayoned .. talk at ya'll later. have a good day! xoxo

oh here's a quickie .. which most of us already knew .. but for those that didn't: TO REMOAVE PSTICIDES, BACTERIA AND WAX FROM PRODUCE WITH A SKIN, SUCH AS APPLES, PEARS, TOMATOES AND CARROTS ... spray a solution of three parts tap water and one part distilled white vinegar on it. Rince under cold running water, and rub the produce with your hands or a scrub brush to loosen and remove dirt.
do any of you do this? anyone disagree? anyone have other 'healthy' alternatives?

These tips and such sound intersesting. I do have a couple of the books but don't really buy them off of the infomercials...I tend to inquire them from a second hand store...very interested in the natural cure books, but won't really go buy them till I can see them 1st, I suppose...From time to time (should use all of the time , huh)...the wash with vinegar and water...it is actually pretty effective. I even use baking soda, sea salt and vinegar as a veggie wash, esp from lettuce.
Thanks for sharin'

Frannie, Don't laugh, I do scrub my (non-organic)apples,,why you ask???? cuz they are sprayed w/a thin coating of carnuba wax...yum!!! Remember how we have always been told that the skins, be it apples, potatos, cucumbers, etc., have all the nutrients??? now they have all the pesticides!. I pretty much try to only buy locally grown/organic, but even then I still wash them well. Thanx for the tip about the 1 to 3 vinegar & H20 cleaning method. hugz

heart health: Boost Omega-3 fatty acids. found mainly in cold-water fish, are powerful anti-inflammatory agents. Omega-3's also stabilize heart rhyuthm and inhibit the ability of platelets to form clots.
NUTS. all nuts .. but especially walnuts and almosds .. People who eat a handful of nuts (raw or toasted) two or more times weekly have a 30% to 40% reduction in heart disease risk factors.
