Yankee Doodle is a DANDY! She's a mischievious little thing that can be found 'hanging' in the strangest places. of course, she chose to 'hang out' with this wonderful olde american flag that was airing out on the clothesline.
Her 'patriotic dress is of course, red and white stripes with a blue background with stars scattered on it.
Her moppish red hair goes well with her sweet patch nose .. olde button eyes and teensy red stitched smile.
She has a little 'patriotic' DITTY BAG for collecting treasures in. AND her 'hand-did' flag she proudly waves is a 'Freedom Valley' STICK .. with antique homespun and vintage star.
Ms. Frannie, I just wanted your secret as to how you have the time to do all these. Are you drinking some special herbal tea, or maybe you just don't sleep. Your workin' circles around me! I love all your dollies,you know and when I get back to KY, I'm coming to Greensburg to see them. P.S. Send me some get-up-&-go!
Haha! I agree RoseMarie! I don't know where she gets it from! I'm exhausted just seeing all these dollies. And I can't look...I had a peek at the tea party chilluns and I had to hop off her blog quick. They are all just gems!
i swaneeeee .. i do get a good 7 hours of sleep each night .. jus' always have my fingers flying! i'm gettin' the most out of life that i can .. every moment that i can! ha! when hank sleeps late .. i tell him 'You must be looking forward to death! you get to sleep forever!"
