Oh, Zan--it will be super fun--and like I said, not much room at the "inn" but it will be a snuggle fest with the pups and kits!

Zan, he can cook , makes the Best biscuits but he will not wash a dish, He will scrape them put them in the sink but if they go to the ceiling he still wont wash them. If my mother in law knew that he cooks breakfast every morning she would roll over, but you know he really is proud that he can make biscuits, And I dont have to worry if I am gone before him that he couldnt take care of himself.

Girls Sterl makes the best "big biscuit" you'll ever see. Yep - I said big biscuit. haha. You don't leave Wilma's house feeling hungry that's for sure!
Linda - I'm the chick with the Johnny Cash shirt on. I wear it almost all the time when its cool outside. Lord my hair was all crazy with the moisture in the air. We are all a hoot of a time. It was the first time meeting Janice & Jonni and they are sweet as all get out. Hopefully next time when it gets warmer, we'll having some pickin and singing. My hubby plans on coming this time as well.
Janice - what did you do with the fishies? I hope that you get those cabinets. The lady that lived in the house before us had a pair about like that but in brown. They are extremely handy!

Here's the fish planter I bought at Burlington. I picked it up and turned around and saw the two men giving each other 'the look'. You know the one...'that crazy woman is going to buy that ugly thing - we've got a live one'. So I held it up and looked straight at them and asked: " How much do you want for this ugly thing?" HAHA They laughed and said I hurt their feelings! :) Then they came down on the price and I bought it! My dh wasn't crazy about it and he kept moving it while we were helping Wilma pack up. He just kept moving it farther away(hoping I'd forget?). It looked like they were headed for the lake to swim away! :D It's too small for a plant. I've got to decide what will fit in there so I can put it in the bathroom in the trailer.

Janice, do you need some of those "so 50's" fish out of resin, with glittery sparkles, for the wall, to go with your fish planter? I may not even be describing them right, haven't seen them in a long time, but know they still live here or at the storage. I believe they are angelfish also. I thought they would go with my maybe future DIL's ocean theme bathroom, but my son said no and she never got to see them. |

I find myself asking.. where else could you put this many women in a room.. all so different and have as much fun.... While I often feel like I am the wall flower of the group, just holding up the beams and listening in.......I always leave feeling better then when I came..... medicine for the soul.....

well, if the fish is going in the trailer bathroom, maybe she needs to add to the "theme" with more fish :) He doesn't have to look at them if he stays out of that bathroom! I'm just trying to help..... |

Well, here's my little update. The trip to Chicago is a no-go because the tickets are so pricey now and the free ticket I was suppose to get can't be redeemed for 30 or more days. I also had a conversation with my ex this morning and it looks like that ticket needs to be used to get my daughter to college in Boston in September. The good news is that it looks like I'll be getting a pretty good check this week and unemployment has FINALLY released my checks and is sending my money out to me so rent is paid for next month! WooHoo! I have not given up yet. I should be clocking in a bunch of hours with the people I'm working part time for next week, so we'll see! I think I can, I think I can...

Miss Wilma, My only expereince with Kentucky - was last year, My 20 year old - who at the time was attending a collge in KC - drove to kentucky with a friend... he called when he 1st got there and said..MA.. I love Kentucky, I am gunna move here... 3 hours later he called.... said he had been in a hospital to be checked out after he was hit by a car..... (he was OK)... 3 hours after that.. he called about the flash flooding.. and a few hours later called me to see if I could get him a ticket home - as the basement he was staying was now flooded..... So... within a 24 hour period.. he went from love to 'get me home'.... guess i need to come and check it out on my own :).... he is now on a coast guard cutter tall ship "EAGLE" traveling in the gulf of Mexico and then up the pacific coast.. go figure!

Ronna - Our two great minds must be thinking alike! LOL! The theme for the trailer bathroom IS FISH!!!!! The shower curtain is covered with fish, the towels are all colorful beach towels from thrift stores and I actually DO HAVE a few of those fish you're talking about and I plan to put them on the walls. They've gotten sort of hard to come by in thrift stores and when I do find one, there's usually a chip on it somewhere. I also have a ceramic fish with a big gaping open mouth that I keep combs in! And the lotion holder, the toothbrush holder and the kleenex holders are all resin, fish covered items called 'Zippy Fish' that I bought in a DAV store. They all had original prices on them and it added up to over $100.00(they are sometimes on ebay), but I paid about 17. for all of them together. :D

Janice and Ronna-
When we moved into our first apartment our bathroom was fish too! We had a lovely shower curtain and a cut little soap dish that looked like it was sand with shells coming out if it. We had the matching tooth brush holder which eventually was deemed no longer usable since most of today's tooth brushes are chunky. Isn't lot so fun to have an aquarium for a bathroom?
Janice- I love your deals! That is great! I love getting a huge bargain on things!

See, I was on the right track, after all! When I come across those fish, I'l have to take photos, "just cause". I think my mother had the ceramic ones in her bathroom in Palm Springs...if so, they're likely still packed up with he rest of her stuff we didn't toss or donate. Half my messy sewing room is now in the living room, I must go sort out and get going here today! |

Janice - I'm going to be on the hunt to try to get a photograph of a fishie to add to your bathroom. :) One of the prettier ones like at the aquarium in Newport.
Girls - I never imagined in a million years that our little trip got this much interest on here. We sure do know how to have a good time that's for sure! I've been putting up some stuff on Ebay and checking on the board here when I need a break. Ya'll keep the laughs coming.
