I'm terribly sorry, but I've lost track of your contact info. Someone contacted me about buying 5 carpetbagger style purses made from flour sacks (for a website, maybe?). It was a quilter and she had a website relating to her quilting group, I think. I sent photos of the uncut flour sacks that I have but never heard back. Now I can't find the email.

ETA: that I have two email addresses and I can't even recall which one the inquiry was sent to. Ack. I'm on overload!
I think someone here forwarded a link to my shop to someone else or something. Maybe.

Oh my goodness Ginny your purses are the coolest I have seen I want one. Are the ones on your esty the only ones you have right now for sale? I love these.

I just checked out both sites and they are wonderful! I also love the farm one.
May God bless those who love the soil,

These are great ginny! Can i ask you how you got them to come so clean? I have 4 very old Great Western Sugar ones that were given to me from my grandfather several years ago. However, I haven't been able to decide what to do with them because they are so stained. Any words of wisdom that you can share?!?!

Christina, I try not to wash the sacks, but occasionally have to due to how/where they've been stored. I've had success with Woolite or Ivory Snow (slightly less than the recommended amount), COLD water and either hand washing or machine wash on the GENTLE cycle. DON'T SOAK THE SACKS at all, they will fade (as they were meant to). Hope this helps...
