I asked a couple of weeks ago for home rice recipes so I did not have to buy Rice a Roni anymore and someone posted www.hillbillyhousewife.com and I just want to say thank you! My family loves her recipes and I can make up the packets and store them and only add the water when I am making dinner. Thanks!
I am so glad that you found it helpful, and that your family likes them! I was introduced to the site from someone else on here, I think, so it was nice to be able to pass it along! Which ones did you try?
Thanks, I just checked out this site and found a "Missing Bread Machine Manual" manual for my sister - she picked up a bread machine at a yard sale and couldn't find a manual for it!
Me too!! Great ideas there. With last year's doctor bills (before husband's new job and better insurance) I am looking for more ways to cut back so I can get the bills GONE. I am paying more each month on them than I am comfortable with, so that by the time my 10 year old mini van finally gives up I can get a new (to me) car. I find all sorts of ways to feed my family for less there.
Toni, I did the garlic ones, the lemon ones, I did not do the beef ones yet but I am going to. On the garlic one I added some serano pepper to it and it made it spicy and was delightful!
