I recently recieved my order of some fantastic products crafted by our own BlueEggBabe Sue in her Farm at Coventry kitchen. Girls and Guys these are fabulous! My little box arrived holding the cutest, sweetest smelling and authentically herbal treats! First, her Farmgirl's Handclappin Revival Butter comes in a sweet jar decorated with a pink and green label replete with an apron and chicken, and a hoe. Nostalgic and smells subtle of yummy shea butter and almost a chocolate candy type fragrance. My hands are the softest and smoothest and the ingredients are all natural and delicous enough to eat! Her Rose Petal cream for face and body comes in another cute little pink and green labeled jar ( these jars are pretty enough to set on a vanity or on a tray in your bathroom) It is the softest pink silky smooth confection of the most subtle rose scent. It just glides on the skin and I love it! I also got her Terra Rose soap which also smells like my roses in the spring and is gentle and leaves the skin soft. Her VaporBomb is wonderful and smells of spearmint and euclyptus and helped my daughters discomfort from a cold and cough! Her Neck Salve is a treat for the achey neck pain I have been suffering from. She also has the prettiest lip balm called Kitty Kisses and it is a sheer berry tint and helps the lips feel less "old". Check out her stuff at www.farmatcoventry.com I am ordering her tea blends and more of her soaps for stocking stuffers. It is a comfort to know these things are made in a sweet farmgirl's kitchen..and this girl knows her herbs! I am going back for more!!!!

Sue Thank you so much for the delicious Faux Joe. We are all enjoying a cup right now at the farm. So tasty and just like coffee with a wonderful cinnamon twist!! It’s an organic caffeine–free alternative to coffee. What an amazing little treat!!
Much Thanks from the farm!!
I've also posted this under farmgirl Here's to your health but when I saw Meadowlark's post I realized it fit better under here!!

Sue -- I love your website. I will definitely be ordering Revival Butter and Rose Petal Cream. How come we didn't know about your products or website before?
Sure wish I could take your Homestead Herbalism course. It sounds so interesting.

Well, My Gosh ...what a nice surprise to come home to!! Is this a farmgirl conspiracy ? Thank you Meadowlark! I trust everything arrived in tip top shape. The Hand butter is actually scented with tangerine and orange essential oils, vanilla and the cocoa butter gives it a slight chocolate overtone. Kate ,so glad you all liked the Faux'Joe at the Farm!! When MJ says she's "hooked" , I better deliver, eh? Thanks Aunt Jenny, just got your order, too Will get it right out. and Kay, I would love if you could take the course, too. It really is so much fun and a natural farmgirl get-together. I came to the connection purely for the social interaction, not to advertise my business. But,thanks to my new PR person,Jenny Meadowlark I think I just may have to come out with it..
enjoy! BEB PS Oh,I apologize that I have no website photos up for products (except on home page)... but we are working frantically to get them there. My web lady is in China at the moment but we hope to have them for your viewing pleasure soon. www.feedsackfarmgirls.blogspot.com "If more of us valued good food, cheer and song above hoarded gold, the world would be a merrier place." Jenny -- I'm so glad that you told us about Sue's products. If there are any other Farmgirls out there that have stuff to sell I wish they'd share. I'd much rather buy from my Farmgirl Sisters than from the store.

I, too, have tried Eggs of Blue and love them! I really do! (That sound you hear is Dr. Seuss rolling over in his grave).
I will be buying more from you, Sue, for Christmas presents. Actually, I have most of my "shopping" done, but must pass along some of these great products to others.
Anybody interested in the retro aprons I'm designing and making? I use good quiltshop quality cotton and they're darn cute, if I do say so myself.
I also have Snackeesacks if anybody is interested. I can post pictures.
Love and light, Patricia

Hi Kay ~ I have trouble taking good photos of the Snackeesacks because if I get close enough they get all blurry. I plan to try, tho. I have only made a couple of aprons so far. I planned to do them after I finish the Christmas rush. I'll post photos on Marketplace. Woo hoo!

Ptricia, Your snackeesacks and aprons sound so cute! Are the snakeesacks like a tote bag? I sure would rather buy the handmade items for gifts than shop in a monstrousmegaplexhomogenuseverything is the same superstore and stand in lines that seem all the way to China while mean parents yell at their kids and the evil eye abounds. Can ya tell I hate to shop during the Holidays? Hey Kay, don't you sell handmade items too? I'd love to see pics Patricia and Kay of your made with love wares!

Patricia,When you photograph your things do you use a digital camera? If so you can get better closeups if you take a clear shot at whatever distance you can and then on your computer photo program zoom in and crop to the size you want. I do this all the time and have some really nice flower photos close up that I could never have gotten with just the camera. Eileen

Eileen, I'm poor. I don't have a digital camera, lol. But I have some slightly fuzzy shots that I will post when I get home today. Thank you everybody for your interest. It's cheered me up. Yesterday I had a sonogram. Doc thought I had ovarian cancer. (Oh, those internals are so much fun, especially with a bladder full of 32 ounces of water! Haven't had that much fun since I delivered my last baby. "What's that? Sorry, I don't use toys. Oh, you mean you're going to use THAT to examine me? Honey, I'm not the grand canyon. Oh, it won't hurt. Much. OK. Wowweeeee! Now do I get to do it to you, doctor?"). anyway, the scan was negative, thank God. But DH and I were really worried because I have all the symptoms. But, hey, I'm too happy to die. Hell, I hang out with dead people every day, but I don't want to join them just yet! Anyway, maybe I'll ask Santa for a digital camera or borrow Chrissy's. Photos later, ladies. Woo hoo!

Forgot to tell you, yesterday was busy. I got up at 5AM to get to Channel 13 for a 7AM interview and they didn't use me until 7:45 and then the interview was only 3 minutes long! Hard to be creditable for only 3 minutes. They had a nice doggie named Ali more me to talk to but jeez, after the intro, I had only about a minute to do my thing. Ah, well, some people called and said they're so glad to have seen me because they have animals that really need help, so it was worth while. One lady is bringing her horse, Jubilee, down from Logan, I think. That'll be fun. A horse in my front yard. Oh, it's just the crazy psychic lady, Aunt Edna, nothing to worry about. HA HA!

She-who-has-the-monthly-Blues: For the most benefit, be sure to use the Blue Moon Belly Balm massage oil in combination with a hot water bottle. That particular muscle needs warmth to relax so the oil/heat combo works great (I prefer that over an electric heating pad, just more cuddle-y ...I made a flannel cover for my daughter's ) She also suffers greatly...hence the need for mamma to wanna make it better I played around with the recipe for a week or two but ended up finishing the blend in the middle of the night because it was needed IMMEDIATELY !!! my daughter was so grateful that it worked so well, she told all her friends and the rest is history!! Yep, been there, done that too....... PS. internal warmth is good,too...try ginger tea. Really helps if you get nausea with your cramps, as well.

Chrissy used to have cramps so bad in high school that she would pass out. Her doctor finally said when she first starts to feel it coming, take 600 milligrams of ibuprofen. She did and they went away right away. Ibuprophen is an anti-inflammatory. It takes down the swelling that causes the cramps. It's not a pain killer. But it works! Thanks, Doc! Girls, remind me to talk to God about this female repro thing. It needs some work. Patricia

Patricia - you are a hoot. Many of us have been there with the fear of finding out something is REALLY wrong. But we pray for strength and faith, right? I am glad your news was good. And I would love to get one of your aprons!

Thanks JP! As soon as I have photos, I'll post 'em. the funniest part of the exam was when the technician (who was a woman an should have known better) was wielding this lightsaber thingy and saying, "it's no bigger than a tampon." My Aunt Fanny!

I'm going to keep the topic going on Sue's stuff here...I have had neck pain for several months now. I felt the stiff neck coming back on me tonight and reached for Farm at Coventry's Stiff Neck Salve and had Dh rub it into the muscles around my neck and upper shoulder area. The fragrance is amazing and the instant it hit my skin there was a sensasation of warmth and it gradually soaked into the tense muscles. This is amazing stuff and I highly recommend it!

There's that ginger again........ warm and smells good, too.I use ALOT of the "stiff neck salve" and it is probably my best seller at the moment. Jenny, thanks so much for setting up this "infommercial" for my stuff. You are very generous with your comments and your praise. I appreciate it very much.... Thanks to all who have posted and ordered...it's gonna be a gooood season!
