| Yesterday a LifeFlight helicopter crashed near us killing all 4 on board, including the patient - a 1 year old baby who was having severe seizures. Haven't heard yet who else was on board - obviously a pilot and someone else medical, but don't know if adult #3 was a parent or another medical person. They were on their way to Children's Memorial in Chicago, one of the best children's hospitals in the world, when the helo crashed. |

For those who didn't see it on the news, I learned more details last night. The three adults that were on board were 2 medical staff and the pilot, and then of course the baby. The chopper clipped a radio tower and then crashed to earth. Just too too sad.

I saw that on the local news this morning. It was very sad and tragic. It was raining a lot that day, perhaps that's why they crashed. Very sad.
