I am almost finished with mine, PHEW! Just need to add the wais band and I can send them off. I am glad i finished them in time, lol

Mine are now done!! I still need some inspiration on putting my name on them. Pockets maybe... I don't know. I'm making lace hostess aprons from vintage lace and ribbon from Tiffany's packages. (My son is dating a wonderful woman who works for Tiffany's!) Ideas??

Bonne, I obeyed orders, put the bread in a warmed up oven and the dough looks fabulous, I just punched it down and put it in pans and back into the warm oven for the final rise.
The sun just broke through the clouds, i think I'lll go outside and get a little fresh air, the caffeine doesn't seem to be doing it for me today.

Kathie/Steph, I carry a list of all my meds all the time, good idea for anywho with any med issues) and when it's needed at the Dr office, just have them make a copy they attach to the file. They appreciate it and saves me from trying to remember or writing it all down.
Nope, no mini's yet, but this is only the 4th. I have a whole week and a half left. Yep, will be down to the wire like with everything else I do.
Ahhh, new baby girl, how cool. Guess I'll just have the one grandson who is nearly 19. Unless my son gives me a grandbaby one of these days. |

Hi Ladies- I will try to work on mine this weekend. After the car crash the day before yesterday I am really sore and have a micro-fracture in my left elbow, so my crafting ability has gone way down. I'll try to tough it out to get them on their way to Kathy though.

Kathie,
I feel like a very small but stinky bug right now. I'm finally home and not under the influence of drugs after a scary and sudden health crisis. I have not had the opportunity to read all the posts since I became ill and my husband refused to accept that mini-aprons were important (although he's generally a very accomodating gentleman).
My aprons are not done, nearly, but not done. I hate holding everyone up and I hate not participating too.
What do you think I should do? Could I send mine out to everyone late? I wouldn't mind at all, really.
I'm embarrassed that I just didn't get them done in mid-January when I started.

Cyndi, I know of at least 2 people that don't have their aprons started yet~there's undoubtedly many more~don't fret on it. Finish them when you can~this swap always runs a month over or more. ;)

Mine will be sent out on Monday. The doctor finally prescribed me some pain medicines to deal with the pain from the car wreck so I think I can get them finished up now. Yep...running late again. Sorry ladies! I blame it 100% on the car wreck though!

Me too ladies....I was planning on working on them today but something came up with one of my employees and she has no family and I felt I needed to help her out....always something dramatic. So I am working on them now and will finish them asap....

Cyndi, Please send them and you will be right at home here! I just realized that they are supposed to be to Kathie by the 16th!!!! I thought we were supposed to mail them by the 16th! By the way the 16th is a holiday and I don't think there is mail so I will get mine on there way the 17th!!! I need the address to mail them!
