Good Morning Ladies,
I first signed in here about a year ago and then never really jump in much. I am here now and ready to learn, share and visit with all.
I am Pat, married to Jeff for 22 yrs. We have 3 daughters,(soon to be 20, 15 today, & 10). My husband moved this city girl out to the country over 20 yrs ago and I would never go back to the city, lol...
We live on 4 ac about 25 or 30 miles north of Memphis Tenn. We get the best of both worlds I guess. We can drive into Memphis for shopping and doctors but have everything we need within 10 or so miles for the daily things.
I love to cook and bake. I find peace when I am in the kitchen. I also am a quilter, which I sew everything by hand. I have a machine and I promise myself that my next quilting project I will try it with the sewing machine.
I hope to have a garden again this year. It has been a very long time since we were able to have one. I will need to start over new with everything. My MIL always was the one to teach me but she is gone now and I will be on my own with my husband.
My husband has a woodworking shop in the barn and is a craftman of all things wood. Furnature, wood carving, anything.
I guess this is enough. I look forward to getting to know some of you.

Welcome Pat, nice to meet you! I like to put out a garden too. We are still fairly new to it, but learning as we go. Happy birthday to your 15 year old! I look forward to getting to know you.

| Hi Pat! Welcome to the Farm! I grew up in middle TN. Isn't it neat how different the state gets from west to east? So beautiful there! I love to bake and garden, too. The ladies here are sure to have alot of great tips for you! |

Hey Pat. I was hoping you'd be closer to Chatt. Oh well. I was just in Memphis back in Jan. Hubby was in the Methodist Hosp. there for 8 days. All I saw was Germantown Rd.
Anyway, so nice to meet you and hope to hear more about your gardening adventures soon. It's freezing here.

Hello Pat, I was so excited to find another West Tennessee farmgirl here! I live in Troy, just about 2 hours north of Memphis...I also have three daughters, 22,20, and 17. Planning my garden now too, and my husband is wonderful with woodwork also. Looks like we have much in common, though I am not a quilter (wish I were.) Looking forward to seeing you around here. Who knows, we may pass each other on Hwy 51! Linda |
