My name is Donna and I live in Bear, Delaware. While I don't live on a farm, my backyard shares a barbed wire fence with the corn field of the dairy farm next door. We've had occasional visits from the cows and can hear the mule carrying on when he goes in at night. The magazine and the website with all of it's Farmgirl spirit really hit home for me - glad I found it. I grew up with sewing, knitting, crochet, any kind of craft being a big part of life. This is a stash busting year for me - have plans to make about 80-90% of our gifts to be given and have gotten a good head start. I grow herbs in a garden next to the patio but not a lot of sun for veggies. I did have pots of tomatoes but last year the deer ate them down to sticks.

We don't see them very often as we don't get the chance to drive over.
