Hey, everyone, I am new to chat rooms and Mary Janes Farm. Have three grown daughters, two grown Geldings, one shared mare, two great danes, and labrador mix and a border collie mix. I think I am a city farm girl but a was the ranch manager for the largest Equine Rescue in the country for a while. Guess all that qualifies me to be a farm girl. Joined you guys to learn more before I trade in my city farm for a real one. I am a fairly accomplished seamstress and have traveled some in my younger days. Can't wait to get involved in some of the things going on with the farmgirls.
May the force of the Horse be with you. |

Hi Beth, welcome!! I'm really impressed with all the talented gals that frequent this site. sounds like you are another. I admire anyone who loves to sew. I'm hoping that I have learned enough patience to sew again. the last thing I tried to sew was a Sweet Adelines costume, satin and glittery trim, had me saying words my family didn't know I knew. LOL. I'm ready to try an apron I think. LOL.
looking forward to getting to know you. blessings Phyllis |

Hey, I am just learning chat rooms. Was trying to do a reply. I have done some of the satin and glittery trim doing Ren. Fest. and Prom dresses and dance costumes. Have moved on and up to aprons. Just finished my third one and am having alot of fun. Would like to get in on the apron swap but haven't figured out how all this works yet. Will, keep reading and visiting the site until I figure it all out. Thanks you everyone for being so kind.

Welcome, Beth! My hubby is in Houston right now. He drives a truck and is kind of stuck there the past few days. He's lovin' Willie Nelson's restaraunt, though. Been eating there every day so far. It must be good to keep him coming back. Or maybe that's all there is there.
Anyway, nice to see you here.
Kris
