I just found this site thru the magazine! Took a look around and decided to sign up. I am a school bus service tech and bus driver to 84 heathens(kids). I am a seamtress who sews just about anything that dont bite me first,plant gardener,own my own home on 19 acres of land,own ?? chickens,1 pot belly piggy,a pair of peacocks,1 ferrert, 1 praire dog-rescued and nursed back to health,fishes in a tank,2 dogs-Mini pin-Peppericka(hearing dog) and Great Pryenees-Babebera(Baby Bear) and best of all..Nana to a 4 year grandson!
I am located between Houston and Beaumont, Texas where the Hurricane Ike got me..but I am slowly rebuilding..Glad to meet you all..

Welcome Nadine!! Glad to hear you survived the hurricane, would love to see pictures as you have them to post.  I live at the northern part of New Hampshire in an area called " The Great North Woods". We live "on" the 45th parallel and we are approximately 15 minutes from Canada.
Glad you are here and look forward to chatting with you more!

| Thanks, I been trying to find a site for women since I own my house and land..I have to do everything here since my hubby is partly handicap and can't work with a cripple hand..so I build my own chicken hoop henhouses,hothouses for my plants, till up my spot for gardening, and have to do the honey to do stuff around here..lol..I grew up in the big cityof Houston, texas but spent alot of my time here where I live now..I was able to get my grandparents home and land.I am Nana to a 4 year old grandson name Mikey..I have 2 grown kids-my daughter and her hubby are in the Air Force(they have a son)plus stationed in Idaho and my son is in US Army and currently in Iraq but stationed in Killeen,Texas..I also make chicken saddles and chicken diapers out of weird,exotic,country etc..prints..lol..as a side job to pay for my chicken hobby needs.lol... |
