I've noticed Stars popping up by my name and on others
This is according to what... number of post? does software put them on or a person? just curious.

That is just one of those automated functions of the forum. Yes, you get more stars and different colored stars depending on how many posts you write and you will also notice the descriptor under your name will change as well :D Welcome to the MJF Forum!
