Our very own Mikesgirl- Sherri- had an awful scare this past mother's day. You can read more about it in Hogs and Quiches.
Her son Cody was rock climbing and a large boulder came loose, he landed before the boulder but the boulder crushed his leg. At this time they won't be doing surgery, but he will have to be away from work for the next 6 weeks.
Cody's had a rough year. He works in the construction industry which has been impacted by the economy. Cody works hard but like so many of us, he lives paycheck to paycheck.
If you could find it in your heart to send him a card to keep his spirits up, it would be greatly appreciated. And if you have an extra dollar or five to send his way I am sure that will help with staving off the panic feelings until he can return to work.
