Please hold up a family in prayer that lost their house yesterday morning to a fire. The family is two of my grandchildren's other set of grandparents and their dad (my daughter's ex-husband and ex-inlaws). The house was engulfed in flames and totally destroyed. They lost everything, clothes, furnishings, memories collected over the years...it's all gone. Luckily the three adults and three children asleep at the time the fire broke out all got out in time. It was on all the news stations and my two grandchildren were watching tv before school and saw their grandma and grandpa's house go up in flames. They stayed home and were pretty shaken up. Their dad ended up going into the hospital because he thought his mom was still in the house and broke through the window to search for her and part of the living room ceiling fell in and split his head open. Please pray. Thank you.

Oh, how awful. I am so thankful that everyone got out of the home in time. Thoughts and prayers are with all.

The farm is praying for you too! MaryJane, Megan, and Emil lost their farmhouse in a fire in 1996. Their hearts go out to your family as they know how heartbreaking it is to lose everything. We are all thinking of you...

My prayers will be with them, thank goodness they all got out in time. We had a total loss house fire 3 years ago and I know how devestating it can be, expecially when there are children involved.
God Bless.

Thank you everyone. I'll let the family know that there are people out there praying for them and caring for them. I did find out yesterday that they were completely covered by insurance. Thank goodness for that! Thank you again.

Jan, prayers being lifted up here, too. What a Blessing that everyone is okay.

Are there any heirloom items or homemade items they lost....perhaps us farmgirls could make some things for them....I know it wouldn't replace them things they've lost, but it might give them some new memories.

Blessings
Catherine
