Morning ladies! I'm a TX girl who married a city boy. I spent 8 years NYC then finally got out! I have 4 little ones 6 and under and they are such a joy. I don't have a farm of my own yet but I'm trying to use my 3 acres to the best of their ability. I'm working on my husband to get chickens. He's a tough nut to crack but the kids and I are working on him. I'm really looking forward to getting to know y'all.

Hi and Welcome, Anna!

I would love to have chicken too. Our city doesn't allow chicken within city limits...just another good reason to move to a small town.

Hope you have lots of fun here!

Hey Anna. Welcome from Ga. I have 3 acres, too. Milk goats, cows and chickens with lots of guineas, too and cats and dogs. You can get alot on 3 acres. It helps to have a neighbor who'll let me use his small pasture, too!

Glad you joined us here.

Kris

Hi Annabel,
Welcome to the farm from a fellow Pennsylvanian! You will love it here, the girls are great. Once you get your husband talked into having chickens you will have so much fun with them. Where in Pa is Malvern?

Take care, Melissa.

Welcome by another pa farm girl. Pa is a great place to live, i have lived here all of my life but just recently I have moved to a the country. I now live on a 150 cow farm with my boyfriend (soon to be husband!). At first i was so bored and all i smelled was that "fresh country air". That did take some getting used to, but now i adore it! Were getting our own house across from the farm next year and get to move out of the old farm house. I'm from around the State College area.

Have a great time! and good luck

Welcome Anna. I know several farmgirls that live on 3 acres and less. I hope you get lots of chickens. I love chickens, but I have too many outside cats (5) and one dog that would not like to have chickens around. LOL Enjoy your time with the MJF.
