Hi Farmgirls,
FYI we will have a "Meet & Greet" Potluck Picnic in the Park on September 26, 2009 @ 12:00 pm.
Place: Shoal Creek Living History Museum in Hodge Park, 7000 NE Barry Road, Kansas City, MO 64156.

There will be a sign up list on the Hen House for Farmgirls of the Heartland. Please bring a copy of the recipe you made to the picnic.
Also, bring a friend and ideas !!
This will be an organizational meeting for the year.

Okay... We have a slight change in plans. This will be a Picnic in the Park, but we can not have a potluck or we will have to include the Health Dept. Of Kansas City due to the fact it is advertised to the public. ARGG. There goes the cool postcards I ordered Maybe I can fix them with duct tape.. j/k.
So, please bring a picnic lunch with you .
For those of you who seek adventure in your picnics we have several GREAT restuarants and a Super Walmart deli and a Target about one mile down the road from the park.
For those of you who want to make it a weekend getaway let me know and we have some great local attractions and the Liberty Fall Festival is 4 miles or so away , too.
Also , we have a selection of nice hotels , too.
Anything I can do to make your journey and day more special just let me know.

Bring your cameras for a photo op. There might be a Rene Groom sighting at the picnic.
Actually, Rene will be joining us for our first chapter meeting. She will be traveling all the way from WA state , so we need to show her some good ol' fashion Kansas City hospitality while she is here.
Please RSVP by Sept 20.

We will also have a raffle /door prizes. If you would like to donate one of your creative projects, please bring it with you and present it to the sign up table.
Bring a friend, lots of ideas and your apron.
