Guess what I want for Christmas ? I can't WAIT to get my Baker Creek and other favorites ...Am I weird for wanting heirloom seeds for Christmas? It's not even winter yet and here I am buying seeds for spring already! If I'm weird, I'm happily weird

I can't wait either! Why don't we post the names of the seed catalog co. so everyone can get on the list. I don't think I have the Baker Creek one. Thanks, Annika!

It is never too soon to start getting seed catalogs!!! I just love them. I've already got my whole garden for next year planned out! And no, Annika, you are not weird for wanting seeds for Christmas.
O.k. well, maybe you are, but you're not alone. LOL!!

Hi!
Another seed supplier for the list.
Veseys.com
Based in Prince Edward Island, Canada. They sell internationally. Website has an American link. This is the most popular seed supplier in our area and includes certified organic seeds.
Am already thinking about spring as well, I love these catalogues. Jan |

I sure wish I could get some catalogs. I'm already dreaming about spring & summer flowers and it isn't even December yet!

yikes! Lost my post... www.freedomseeds.org Also - just joined PASS at UGA. They have plumgranny seeds! (the edible variety)Once you join, you can get seeds from them. In return, you give 1/3 away from your harvest and then give 1/3 back to UGA. I have lots of research to do.

I have my Dixondale Onion catalog and have already made out my order. Will mail it or order on line the first of Feb. Also starting a new asparagus bed and have the catalog and plants picked out. Getting ready for spring. Isn't that what winters are for?

Got my very first seed catalog ever from Johnnyseeds.com and I'm like a kid looking through the Sears wishbook. I've never had a garden before so this is all new to me. I'm building the frames for my raised beds and have the lumber in my kitchen. (The lighting in my kitchen is better than in my basement, so it's easier for me to see what I'm doing). Let my neighbors think that I'm weird--but just wait till this summer when I'm savoring that first ripe tomato and they're eating the store-bought ones... cindy
