As another farmgirl said, BRILLIANT! I have a box of lace curtains that I haven't done anything with so looks like I've got a project to do! Thanks for sharing, your aprons are lovely!

My blog isn't highlighted....I guess you have to go to blogspot.com and type in santabrigade.blogspot.com , I don't work well with computers so can't do alot of stuff on one...self taught...old enough that we did'nt have computers when I was in school...

hahaha! "old" is my middle name! "old enough" is the rest of it! old enough to know better, old enough to still get into trouble/mischief old enough to not care! old enough to say: Been there, done that bought the T-shirt & ain't goin' back! lololol!

Well I have been told I am old as dirt, my 30 something year old sons are mortified at my sayings....not enough room in this cabin to swing a cat....if wishes were horses we'd all take a ride...when you speak your mouth is on parade...raising teenagers is like being slowly pecked to death by a duck....cain't never could do anything....yata yata...

Nancy, I am so glad to see I am not the only one who still hangs onto those fun old sayings.... Here's one for ya,... "I brought you into this world,,,& I can take you out" ....Bill Cosby.... oh & I finally was able to take a peek into your blog.... www.santabrigade.blogspot.com Luv your log cabin & your Santa Brigade shop.

Good! I'm glad you saw my blog, I have NO IDEA how to do one so mine is haphazard! Ya boy I have used that one before, I brought you into this world I can take you out, Ha! I used that line many times on my son's! I had to get my bluff in on them early because they are HUGE. I once tackled my oldest one for continuing to pop me with rubberbands after I repeatedly said STOP! He may have outweighed me by 100#'s but I got him, lol!!!

How pretty! Now there is something I can do with a beautiful, deep, lace valance I just can't part with. It will make a great gift! Thanks for the idea.

Well I have always been told I need to write a book...oh the stories I can tell on raising sons! One lesson they learned is you DO NOT throw your clothes off the balcony because it gets caught on the deer head which then falls off the wall and lands on moma's HEAD!!! ANTLERS first! Those 2 middle antlers got me good! Oh and just because you have a 4x4 does NOT

Nancy, I suspect I am not as strong as I thought...and I worked 'Corrections' for 17 years....Sounds like my job was a breeze compared to 'Motherhood w.Sons" lol!
