I went to Goodwill today to get muffin pans and got two trays that will seed start 48 plants with the greenouse lid each for 1.99 each. And my muffin pans were the same price. Score....

Muffin Pans? Great idea! I go to GoodWills all the time...never thought to get muffin pans!!! I have been saving the cardboard eggs containers you get at the grocery store, do they work well?? I have a bunch saved up...maybe I should replace them with muffin pans, since I can get them cheap enough? DebbieSue

You can plant the egg carton and all but the muffin tins might cause some plant shock by upsetting the roots.
