Okay,I am new at this so my whine went in barnyard buddies.Oh well, its manure now! Just having a bad moment.Being an old mom(47) to a 5 year-old who is sick with the croup has worn me down.I'm also not to swift at the modern technology thing! Bear with me please. With the humor from some great people on this site I can't possibly be down long!!

No problems you have stumbles upon a forum of very loving and nurturing ladies who will help you figure things out..Hope you and your little one start feeling better soon. My Sister-in-law is also in your situation with a 3 year old just recovering from what she called the playground flu, she too is about the same age as you. But don't worry we all had to figure out this forum and how it works your not alone and Welcome!

Blessed Be

I KNOW I put things in the wrong place all the time. We all find them anyhow somehow. I usually just click on Active topics when I come to the forum anyhow and see what has been posted since I was here last...so I didn't honestly even notice which forum you posted the stuck in a rut thing in..I just posted an answer. Don't worry about it at all. You are a sweetie!!

There is nothing harder than watching a child be sick, especially with croup. My granddaughter had it and I wanted to make it all better and could not. I am 56 and watching her suffer made me so tired and worried. I was trying to help her mom. So I can olny begin to know what you are feeling. I could never have had a 5 year old at 47!!! Good for you for being there for her and as my hubby always says to me "This too shall pass."

Peace

Congratulations on BOTH of your recoveries! I'm glad your little one is feeling better, and it sounds like you are, too. What a good mom you are!!!!

I feel for you. My daughter had croup everytime she was sick, and it always came with an upper respiratory infection. The ole vaporizer was always handy - we learn. You'll get thru it and when they get a little older, they won't be this sick as often as their immune systems get into proper functioning. Just have to watch them when they're little and get them thru it. Sounds like all is well for now....that's what moms do....we're very important people, you know. Give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done!!
