I've started my Christmas list already. I found a pattern for a crocheted twirly scarf. I did one and it is cute, so I know what the ladies are getting this year. Probably more slippers too, though I may try to do a double thread on the bottom this time. Still not sure about the gents but I have some time. Anyone else starting or am I the only nutty one?

Hi Laurie,
If you go over to page 5 of the Bartering section, there are a lot of farmgirls working on this years Christmas presents already so you are not alone. Have fun.

I started too Laurie - working on a felted bag for my mom. I'm thinking I won't have that deadline stress if I start now:D Amy Grace

I guess I am too. I started knitting a sweater for my mom. It was supposed to be for Christmas 09 but I only got half way done with it :). So I'm still working on it now for next year.
I'm also doing dish towel with the button. You can hand them on the oven door handle or fridge handle. I love those!

I too love to work on Christmas and think about it too! It's so much fun when the pressure is off. I am working on an "Egg Money Quilt" right now that will most likely go to my Mom or my best friend. Angelyn

Ooh Angeline, is it from the Egg Money Quilt book? I love those patterns!! I'm in a holding pattern on my knitting project, actually shut down due to lack of funds, but I will not give up hope Amy Grace
