I'm not much of a knitter, do make scarves with really big needles so I can finish them in a day or so..but thought you might like this - I was amazed at the work this lady does http://www.bugknits.com/
Have fun,

Hello Stacey, Yep, I am a knitter. Whenever I am sitting for any length of time, there are needles in my hands. Working on a spring top for myself right now. I never get tired of seeing a useful item emerge from that one string of fiber. An amazing process!! I love to knit socks and scarves too. N@n in ARk
keep searchin'-it's out there somewhere. |

I knit off and on. I just finished a sweater and a few dish clothes and I'm waiting for my DD to get the verdict so I can make a baby blanket for the new grandchild.

I knit whenever I have a moment between working full time and my almost one year old (so it's not a lot :)) but I love it. Working on several things right now and reading Yarn Harlot's most recent satire (and identifying with every bit of it :)).

Thanks so much for the warm welcome, so happy to find other knitters. I just started back to school so I am sticking to small projects this year and trying to get all my ufo's caught up. I have been totally taken by dishcloths lately, lol! |

Hi Stacey - welcome. I am a knitter too. I always have more than one project going. I also am a spinner so I like to make the yarn I am going to knit.

I'm a knitter, too! I've got a vest, a bandana, and a blanket all in progress right now- and yes, I'm kind of a yarn snob! A frugal yarn snob- ebay, thrift stores and barter where possible! MAry LD

| Knitter here, too! I love dishcloths too, because they're so quick and easy, but I've done all sorts of projects. Sweaters, hats, scarves, baby items. I'm working on a tote bag right now. |

Is anyone into knitting lace? I love to knit lace - lace edgings, lace shawls, lacy socks - lace anything.

Hi Girls! Very excited by a new knitting book I just got that has some great, contemporary-but-not-so-hard-I-can't-watch-t.v. patterns in it that I can't wait to start - now if the snow in my state will stop I can go get some new yarn!!!

Does anyone have any ideas what I could do with leftover baby yarn (that isn't a baby project).

I'm a knitter too, among other things including spinning, weaving, crocheting, embroideries, basketry, etc. Wish I could find someone to help me around here so I could do more! I'm currently working on a Civil War Shawl, made from my handspun fingering weight 2 ply blue coopworth, the wool came from my sheep! It's so addictive a habit, I had to raise my own fiber! lol, check out my new website to see some of what I've made, and have a good time! Lorna Jean http://northwindfarm.webs.com
