Hey all, i figure my first merit badge should be embroidery, since, although i do other needle work like cross stitch, i haven't the faintest idea how to "do up" the badge. Do you all know, am i supposed to just go over the outline hexagon and emroider that - any info would be great. Even if i have to wait a bit, i'd prefer to embroider it on. I'm assuming, no one embroiders the hen. How did you do yours? |

I embroidered my hen. Here's a thread where some farmgirls have shared theirs. Mine is toward the end. There one in there where literally the entire thing is embroidered. It's gorgeous! Hopefully it will give you some ideas of what others have done :)

| Thanks for the link - I love what everyone has done with their badges. I thought you did a great job on yours and a first time embroider at that! I think when i get to mine, I'm going to do it as a pin - that way, i can put it on my tote, jacket, or wherever! Thanks for sharing. |
