I'm so glad to be a part of a group of women interested in the same type of things that I am.

My family and I are living on a small homestead in northwest Mississippi.

We're a fairly traditional family. My husband and I are raising 3 kids. Our oldest (son) is in his 2nd semester of college and I'm still homeschooling his 2 younger sisters. I also started college this semester.

We have chickens (my favorite to watch in the yard), ducks, guineas, geese (my daughter's), rabbits, and a small herd of goats. My husband says it's like a zoo with less cages. We also have 3 dogs, a cat, and other small pets in the house.

It's never dull and I wouldn't change it for the world!!!

I love all things old-fashioned and crafty. I'm cross-stitching Christmas presents for this year for daughters and nieces. I always have quilts in the making. I love crocheting and knitting. Really, I don't think there's a craft I don't try. My girls and I use a 1930's treadle for all our sewing. I love listening to the hum of it.

I can't wait to get to know more of you. My sister (Ms. Hannigan) introduced me to the forums this week and I signed up to be a Farmgirl Sister this afternoon.

Blessings,
Leigh-Ann

Hey Leigh Ann. Welcome from Ga. Ok, you have to tell us what kind of goats you have now. It's always good to see more "goat people" join in.
