Welcome Cyndy! Sorry no tips from this Yankee girl on making money at home (I work a lot of OT to pay for my little homestead) but the women on this forum are pretty creative. I'm sure you've come to the right place. jan

Hey Cyndy. Welcome from Ga. I started a market garden when we moved to our 3 acre farm. I have several people that buy produce and eggs from me and I also go to the farmer's market during the season. I make pretty good money and it really helps out. It's a lot of hard work because I do it all myself. I'd love to have 5 kids to help me! I have 1 granddaughter who is a big help when she's here. She's my little farmgirl. I also have chickens so I sell eggs. That's some easy money. Also have dairy goats and I sell milk and the kids. That's fairly good money, too. And with all that acreage you could have grass-fed cattle or pastured pigs and even meat goats. You have enough land to do rotaional grazing. I'd love to have 100 acres. Wow! I have 2 heifer cows now and when they have calves I will sell them when they are ready. There's money in cattle esp. grass-fed.

Ok, I'll stop now. That's my ideas. You can tell I am all about the outside.

Kris

Hi Cyndy from Missouri, really glad to have you with us. There are a circle of wonderful farmgirls here. And lots of info and a big bunch of fun. I to am looking for something to help out working at home. First I have to get my back surgery over with then I'm going to focus on selling my crafts. I know it will take some time to get it started, but just making everything is fun! Hope you find something that will work out for you! Do you do crafts? Lot of avenues there.

Welcome aboard from Florida. I've joined two great companies Watkins and Fuller Brush. Then I sell on ebay and etsy. Also, check out my Sunshine co-op for great ideas from the farm girls that make and sell their handiwork. Here is the link, it is free to join.

Hi Cyndy! I know several people sell things on etsy.com. Do you like to sew, knit, embroider, or the many possibilities? Check the website out it may give you ideas. Good Luck!
