Allison -- those are just the cutest bowl covers! Love the one from pink rose ticking -- I have that fabric as a staple in my sewing room! I want the one that is the embroidered basket on cotton. Please email me to let me know how to pay.

   Hey Farm Girls!
I would like to have the bowl cover that is made out of the pink floral ticking and would like to buy both dish mitts, Wish that you had all of the days. If you have them eventually, I will buy them, also. How do I pay you?
Connie

Have you thought about including a waterproof liner on the bowl covers like you do for the sandwich wrappers? It would help with keeping things in the bowls moist and reduce moisture loss. Just a thought. -Cat
ps. I like the bowl cover with the bold red flowers on it. Have any more with that design? Or perhaps something with bugs on it? |

I hadn't thought about making the covers waterproof for two reasons: 1) I'm really, really, really trying to get away from petrochemical products. The only reason the sandwich wrap has a nylon inner layer is "popular demand". Even this may change in the future... 2) foods will not shrivel up and dry out in the fridge or on the counter if left for only a day or two.
Once I heard an off-gridder saying something about not having a fridge, like, who wants to eat old food anyway? And that really stuck with me.
I can make another large or a small cover with the red flowers but it won't be exactly the same due to the lay of the flowers and the size of the piece of fabric I have. I don't have any bug fabric. All this fabric is reclaimed from vintage and older linens, although some are newer fabric-leftovers from other projects (such as the pink floral ticking).
SPOKEN FOR: embroidered bowl cover/ 1 blue&yellow plaid bowl cover/ 2 dishcloth mitts/ pink floral ticking bowl cover.
When these have been paid for, I'll definitely list them as "taken" so folks will know what's left.
Thanks everyone! |

Patricia, I did email you about it. I guess you didn't get it.
It is available but I'm just "finishing" it. Wanted to add another layer to the bottom for more strength. I'll email you a photo next Monday and price (will be gone this weekend) if that's okay. Then you can let me know for sure.
That IS the sweetest pair of overalls. I wish I had dozens to make bags and purses and just give out all day!
Next week for sure - I'm committed to getting etsy up and running. Boy! Teach me to use a digital camera and suddenly I'm a geek! |

I was asked to let you all know what was left.
The Unbaggies/Wraps are in my Etsy shop; so is the vintage clothespin bag and the denim apron. The dishmitts are spoken for and the bowl covers that are left are:
red check/denim/red floral/RWB check/ green barkcloth
I've been focusing on these totally fun pincushions. They are on etsy, too.
Thanks for asking! And have fun on the farm!
